ESPN paid him five million a year, and Vice can afford him, they are valued at $2.5B and are getting their own news channel, taking over History 2 on the A+E Networks. Get Simmons to run something similar to Grantland, and pump out more docs, all while swearing and talking real about everyone with out fear of persecution from the suits over at Mouseshuwitz.

His agent James Babydoll Dixon handles Colbert, Stewart and Kimmel so he can make shit happen in TV.

because he's built a great website, a great documentary series, has an entertaining podcast and writes fan based articles. Simmons is probably the most important and influential media figure in sports today, he isn't some talking head goober or ex-jock clich

Maybe we can just have standup comedians do all jobs (but only the good ones)?
