What word would you use to describe those sports fans who only base their opinions on the current status. For example hate a player or a team when they are good but kicks them when they're down. Or will bet on the clear cut favorite and pretend to be an expert on the the subject. Or flat out state the obvious like they came up with it
The one who fits all 3 of these categories:

Eg. 1- Derrick Rose injured: " His career is over. He's a never was"
Current Rose: " I knew my boy would come back. Don't count him out!"

Eg. 2- 2012 Olympics " Usain Bolt is gonna win the 100m. Take my word for it"

Eg. 3- End of 2015 NBA season" I'm calling it. Curry, Harden, Westbrook, or LeBron is gonna win the MVP"

I'm out for the word that wraps that all up in one

Honestly that type of fan represents the 99%. It's best to not label, be bothered or debate with them. Let them be.

Eg. 2- 2012 Olympics " Usain Bolt is gonna win the 100m. Take my word for it"

The guy that thinks he knows way more about sports than he actually does and assumes everyone is clueless. He will also argue ridiculous things like college football is better than the pro's because the players play harder

Eg. 3- End of 2015 NBA season" I'm calling it. Curry, Harden, Westbrook, or LeBron is gonna win the MVP"

The guy that doesn't watch the NBA during the regular season and literally just read up on how the players played/performed right before the start of the playoffs. He's now trying to pass it off like he's a real fan.

Eg. 1- Derrick Rose injured: " His career is over. He's a never was"
