some seemed to think because harden and curry were the top two mvp candidates this year that automatically meant they were super star status...

no....

the only real superstars are durant and lebron. they're by FAR the two best players and by far have the highest expectations

everyone else can kick rocks.. especially curry who will go down as the worst mvp EVER

Curry is a great player, but he can't have an effect on the floor the way LeBron and Durant can. He's too little, if his shot's not fallen then he can't win or effect the game in other ways.

My true definition of an MVP has always been a player who effects the game in multiple ways. That was if you can't score the you can rebound, play defense or pass. A player great at one thing will never be a true superstar.

The greatest players mask a team's faults. Curry has a ways to go before he's able to do that.

CP3 is smaller and can affect games in much more ways than Steph

He can thank his teammates for that award. Without the help of Klay, Draymond, Bogut, Speights, Banres, and Iggy, Curry wouldn't even have sniffed that MVP.

Borderline superstars: Rose, P George, and CP3

exactly

next someones gonna tell me jj redick is a superstar:oldlol:

i understand curry is a great ball handler and has good touch around the rim but the kid is mainly a jump shooter... he doesnt do much else to really impact the game on both ends

not a knock on him but a knock on the media. watching espn shows and they're talking about hes the best player in the world and they dont understand whats missing from his game... "he has it all" - idiot from 'his and hers' ..:facepalm

Same could be said for many past MVPs, what's your point?

We need a best player in the league award that is voted on by players and coaches only. The MVP is pointless, and doesn't really mean anything other than being the best player on one of the best teams.
