Accept that you chose to build the team around two frauds and call it a decade.

Harden is not a #1 option. You won't win shit with him. Not trolling, the guy is just way too passive and soft a franchise player to reach that next level with. His game is entirely reliant on stuff that is out of control...officiating. If you take penetrating the basket away from his arsenal, he's fvcked. Absolutely fvcked. LeBron, Kobe, Wade, etc were all killers when they had to be, and had the skills to match it. Harden has no heart and no game. He will continue to put up hollow numbers and get his shit pushed in year after year.
- Loses out on MVP to Steph
- Barnes tells his mom to suck his dick
- Baby Rivers shits on him and mocks him with the stir the pot gesture
- Your defense is so universally clowned people have made commercials about it
- Potentially 3rd straight embarrassing playoff exit staring you in the face
...and the guy still looks like the same downsy, heartless fa*got he's always been. What the f*ck else does he need for him to get mad? 37 year old Jason Terry plays with more purpose than this turd.

The problem with Harden is that he's like a Carmelo. He's too good to be a #2 but he just doesn't have what it takes to lead a team the right way.
He's too passive when his shot isn't falling. I mean, he is just getting mentally skull ****ed by the Clippers...a true leader would have risen to the challenge...found some way to inspire his teammates...but Harden can't do that.
I honestly haven't even noticed Harden at all this series. He might as well be a role player.

Genuinely not sure. On paper, we had pretty much everything, heck this year we had Smith and Brewer coming off the bench, and we are definitely going to lose one of them this offseason.
So are we supposed to get even more players? Barring some miracle, I think this team is as talented as it gets, a third star is fantastic but difficult to get. Howard has his player option coming up.
Oh look, the lead is less than 30 points now, how nice.

Rockets have a GREAT defense but b/c of HArdon he alone makes it bad...........Ariza, Brewer, Fright, Smith all elite defenders, plus they got Bev and Dmo. i say trade Harden and some1 else try to get an elite offensive wing that hopefully at least plays avg defense in system and defensive gameplan

Harden and Howard is a nice combo. Just surround them with 3&D guys. They need to bring in a veteran with championship experience and some leadership skills. It's the mental edge that Houston is lacking.

For starters, they lack a real point guard. James Harden has to make almost EVERY play for the Rockets, as a result. Doc Rivers is also coaching circles around McHale. They need a coach that actually knows what the hell he is doing. The James Harden ISO style offense that they ran during the regular season isn't cutting it in the playoffs. The team needs some real leadership.

Yeah they are lacking a good coach and a point guard.
James Harden and Dwight Howard are excellent franchise player, but they don't seem to be good leaders. Therefore, the importance of a great coach who knows how to lead and motivate is even more with this team.
Also their point guard situation...terrible. Harden isn't a great defender. He can be pretty decent but he cannot lead on defense. They had Patrick Beverley for that. Then he got injured. Then they're forced to put ancient 80 years old Jason Terry alongside Harden...in a league full of CP3s. They're just lucky Rondo had temper tantrum and he was replaced by Barea.
