The nba has a ton of rules that nba players take advantage of that affects the game in a negative way. Let's list all of the rules, or things that you would like the referee to call/Not call.

1. Hack A Whoever must go!!!!! I understand the point about having to make free throws so to fix this it should be 1 free throw for each foul away from the ball. Team that has possession of the ball gets clock reset to :14 (if shot clock is below this mark).

2. Jumping into Defender for the foul must go!!!!! I hate this bailout move the most. It does not matter if a defender leaves his feet to attempt to block the shot, it does not give the shooter the right to lean all the way in to force contact. Just like you have to give the shooter room to land, you should also have to give anyone is in the air room to land as long as it does not enter the space you currently occupy. Imo they should call this as an offensive foul since it's the shooter that is creating the contact.

Clear path needs a harsher penalty. I ****ing hate it when there's about to be a fast break dunk and it gets killed the somebody just grabbing someones jersey. This isn't basketball.

Also adopt the FIBA rules of offensive basket interference. The NBA's rule is pointless and just makes no sense.

Even if they don't go all out with it but just use it on the extreme examples just the threat of a suspension should help curb it.

9 out of 10 times the Defender even though he jumps at the pump fake will not land on the shooter. Obviously it is a clear foul if he is within the space that the shooter occupies.

I'm talking of the instances where it is clearly 1 to 2 feet distance from the shootee, and he intentionally jumps forward to force the refs to blow the whistle. The shooter is basically playing to the odds that the ref will

Let's see..

Intentional fouls should be called as such.

Traveling.

Playing initiating contact (typically offensive player) should be the one that is called for the foul.

Palming.

Block/Charge needs to be removed -- creates too many dangerous plays.

Referees should be challenged after the game. Not physically, or even face to face, but players/coaches should have an avenue in which they can complain about refs without being fined, and when refs mess up, that should be made public. OR a "ref grading tool" should be made public, so that we can see which refs are making a higher percentage of the correct call, especially since we, as viewers, are told that the "best" refs ref the playoffs/finals, but the eye test says anything but.
