How does it feel that kobe only has 1 buzzer beater in the playoffs and is 5/22 with 24 seconds or less to tie or win the game? He is only 2 away though from the goats(lebron and mj).

I feel good adding 5 rings to our total while riding with Kobe. Do you think Lebron would take 5 rings over getting a buzzer beater in the second round?

i guess people jack off to buzzer beaters when theyre fans of players that are 2 for 5
:lol
us fans of guys who are 5 for 7 don't get hung up on flukey flings at the basket
theyre nice but i'm sure lebron would trade in his 2 extra buzzers for 3 extra rings and a real one to replace his lockout title

but he's right. even when he hit big homers he said it didnt matter
lebrons home run in game 4 is only nice if he eventually wins the title in june

Are you counting game winners as buzzer beaters? And even if so he has more than that actually.
Orlando, tonight, golden state a few years back, and indiana.
But final 10 or 24 seconds he has more than kobe in the playoffs, only behind mj right now

I think Kobe is 6/24 in the final 24 seconds.
Lebron is 8 of 19 I think on similar shots.

Kobe wins playoff games and titles convincingly, before it even needs to get to a buzzer beater situation.
It is better to win early than rely on the last shot.

Stay rich and be selfish... don't take a paycut even though it's clear you need to..
Then, contradict yourself by saying NBA players are overpaid...
Then, to stay relevant... say some cool sh!t... like euro basketball is better, AAU is killing the game, criticize the owners, the league, etc.

Kobe took that fat contract because he knew that for Lakers long term success, it would be better to tank for his final two years, rather then be a 6-8 seed and lose in the first round.
Kobe knew if he retired, Lakers management would panic and do their best to overpay a free agent, which was bad for long term. Lakes needed to tank.
By taking that massive contract, Kobe helped to ensure that Lakers would tank and get hopefully a top 3 pick this year.
Thank you based mamba

Kobe hasn't missed a meaningful clutch shot since he was throwing up airballs vs the Jazz.
When you are 5 for 7 playing for a stacked conference the entirety of your career with no more than 1 HOF/ All Star teammate per title team its hard to say a shot here or there would have mattered.
Even in the 04 and 08 Finals the Lakers didn't lose any close games (less than 6 point differential).
In 2003 they lost a close Game 5 against the Spurs (94-96), but it was Horry who took that shot. :confusedshrug:

That wasn't the joke. And if you didn't know, Kobe has attempted the most game winners ever, meaning that he has played in more close games than other greats.

BULLSHIT ITS HIS TEAMMATES THAT ALWAYS MAKE THE BIG SHOTS...
PAU vs Celts, Fisher vs everyone especially Orlando, Horry vs everyone, Artest vs The Suns... Kobe is nowhere to be found.... Kobe is one of the greatest there is no doubt about that but he really wasn't clutch... He never played great in game 7's either... Pau would always do that...

Yes, sidekick in the 2011 Finals. That's what happens when you're being asked to do something you haven't done in your 7yr NBA career.
Kobe on the other hand, learned how to be a sidekick his 3rd year in the league when he was finally good enough to break the starting line-up.

This one of the worst videos on youtube. Sh1t only has like 33,000 views. You know why? Because nobody wants to a montage of layups. Sh1t was awful. how many SHOTS does Lebron have at the end of games? about 4.

It's one thing to be 20 years old and not better than prime Shaq. It's quite another to not be in your prime and not better than Tony Parker, Dirk Nowitski and Kawhi Leonard. You savvy?

Kobe has made the most game winners in NBA history. Yeah Kobe is a little overrated in clutch situations sure, but still one best ever top five at end of games type moments. Haters will point to FG% but why did NBA GM's vote Kobe as guy they want taking last shot at end of the games for 11 years? Hmmm.... In some situations I would take Lebron over Kobe in the clutch due to making right basketball play higher IQ he will pass ball to open teammate while Kobe won't and will always take last shot no matter what he's stubborn as hell. Kobe can be a blessing and curse at times as great as he was I feel he could been so much more ego played role here.

Kobe doesn't need buzzer-beaters or shots in the last 24 seconds of a game to win. He never lets it get to that point.
