How are the Clippers going to beat the Grizzlies or Warriors though.

Thunder, if full strength, could do that.

The Clippers can't.

The Clippers start 3 'should be' all stars are one of the best shooters in the league, with the 6MOTY off the bench.

Their team is pretty loaded. They have been all season.

ISH just believes in the CP3 voodoo like players can never improve. Their team is legit.

The thunder already won a title in 1979

Clippers even with their choke would've beaten OKC last season too if the refs didn't blatantly cheat them out of a win.

LOL @ Durant and Westbrook shooting more FT's than the whole Clipper team in the last couple of games.

This is just how playoff basketball is.

The Bulls would have won last night rather easy with fair officiating, but you can't expect fair officiating with the history this league has and with the same corrupt officials that they keep trotting out there deep into the playoffs.

Can't blame the refs now that the bad and biased ones have become so commonplace. Just have to overcome it and the Clippers, up to this year, have not looked like a poised team at all.

I know. Because the sonics won the nba title in 1979 and changed their name to the thunder when they moved to Oklahoma city

So technically the thunder have won a title whether or not they want to aknowledge it

I could buy the celtics tomorrow if i had 2 billion dollars

Then move them to mexico and rename them the mexico boarder jumpers

Wouldnt change the fact that the franchise won 17 titles

It is a legit possibility. The Thunder have been unfortunate the past few seasons with injuries and letting go of Harden was an obvious blunder. On top of all that the Clips have a better coach.

Letting go of Harden was not an obvious blunder when he was basically their worst player (after Perkins) in the Finals, didn't fit with the team comp at all, and wasn't willing to take just one million dollars less a year.

It's not like Harden has done much of anything in round 2 of the playoffs so far either. Which is surprising since the Clippers are lacking in good wing defenders.

yes, and paul has been trying his hand at a title for quite a while...

okc still has a ton of time

this might be the clippers one and only chance. i think the west will be okc or golden state for the next few years, with the grizzlies and clippers on the outside looking in

I don't agree that this is the only chance for clips and grizz. As long as they keep their core they should be in contention for the next 3-4 seasons minimum.

But OKC hasn't been to the Finals since they let Harden walk.

and they haven't had the same level of health that they had that same year they made the finals either.

so many variables go into making the finals, paying harden a max when he doesn't fit your team comp, is a playoff underperformer, etc, is not smart.

So what your saying is that teams with injured starting players have a harder time getting to the Finals?

In the West, most definitely. Doesn't mean shit in the East especially if you are the most talented even with injury.
