Joe Johnson
Deron Williams
Zach Randolph
LaMarcus Aldridge (he's about to enter his tenth season)

I sure hope not.

Randolph maybe has a chance, depending how the rest of his career goes.

Joe Johnson = lock
7 time allstar
will easly score 20,000+ points

Deron Williams = no chance unless he gets back to an allstar level for another 3-4 seasons or wins a title
does have 3 gold medals for international play. will help his chances but he needs to do more

Zach Randolph = same boat as deron. needs more allstar games or some success

LaMarcus Aldridge = lock...
will easly make 8+ allstar games
will easly score 20,000 points

I don't see much of a difference between Joe and someone like Jamison (who won't get in).

Like 6 all-star games, all nba teams and the best player on multiple playoff teams.

joe johnson is a 7 time allstar with 1500 playoff points
antawn jamison is a 2 time allstar with 791 playoff points

similar career ppg... but one guy obviously had twice the impact on the game of basketball

Basketball HOF is so easy to get into so why not they are letting pretty much everyone else in.

They're letting anyone in, like who? Who doesn't belong?

None of them have a shot and the basketball HOF is easy to get into.

Maybe if Zbo wins Finals MVP this year or something.

Would winning a championship in his 14th season mean much? Is that what pushes him in the Hall?

Johnson got the easiest default pass to the allstar game playing shooting guard in the east. Yeah he had some nice seasons in PHX but he was a half-ass volume jump shooter on a mediocre team for years in Atlanta. Empty stats and no leadership. Kept making the ASG bc there were so few guards of consequence.

If youre saying he'll get in the HOF you might be right. If youre saying he deserves it youre wrong.

Allstars are whatever unless you have some ridiculous accolades in allstar (appearances /+ game MVPs). Which if you have that then chances are you aren't arguing if that guy is in the HOF. Jamison was NPOY in college which at the least equates to a single third team all NBA appearance. Only time Joe's been out of the second round was when he was sixth man on that Nash time, right? A bunch of first and second round fodders, just like Jamison. Being the best player on an average team doesn't equate to much, imo.

Joe probably has the upperhand, but not by much and Jamison isn't even borderline.

last year they let this guy in

Guy Rodgers
4x NBA All-Star
0x ALL NBA
0x Champion
11ppg/7apg/4rpg career average

theres atleast 20-30 guys in the hall of fame with less accomplishments too

He got in mostly for his college career. His NBA career is just extra. Of course no All-NBA when West/Oscar locked down first team for a decade and Greer/Jones on the 2nd team. Led league in assist twice.

It doesn't make him a better ball player but it is the Hall of Fame

One of the best correlations to being a HOFer is playoff points scored. I don't think any of those guys should make it.
