This is just proof that the game is more than athleticism. But as long as he has his base athleticism, he will always have a good ceiling assuming he works on his game. Right now, he's just an athlete trying to play basketball. When the game comes more natural to him, then he will start to see some success. I wasn't expecting much from him in his rookie season anyways. Everyone knew he was very raw and was more of a project.

i never thought he was more athletic than griffin. i always thought it was weird when people said that. he's laterally quicker though and will be a better defender

He jumped half an inch higher in the combine and with his length his max vert reach was 3.5 inches higher than blakes. He was also younger.

I never thought Blake was a good comparison for him though, he's more mobile and I think Marion is closer.
