Historically, LeBron owns Chicago in the playoffs (3-0) having met them in each round in the past with similar results (4-1) so this is uncharted territory for him this time around with the series tied at 2-2, now he's facing a real test of mettle, having to carry a hobbling team with Cleveland's fading title hopes at stake.
Is it over for him if he fails tonight, or does his dominance over Chicago grant him enough credence to warrant a wait-and-see approach?

Fact.
Although I wouldn't mind seeing Lebron go to the Finals just to see him go 2/6

Depends how badly he wants 2/6. I see him throwing this game and blaming it on his phantom injury.

The series shifted when the Bulls lost Pau. He is more vital to the Bulls than Love is to the Cavs.

ISH where making the finals is worse than losing early in the playoffs
use this quote by Kobe to rethink a few things about your 2/6 rhetoric:
"I focus on one thing and one thing only - that's trying to win as many championships as I can."
can't have the chance to win if you're not in the Finals.

false if the bulls win game 5
they are determined to throw this series away and i can't even see a 33% FG bran stopping them

I disagree because love spreads floor for Cavs offense and with injured Irving would probably be clear cut #2 option.. Scary to think how good a healthy Cavs team could be next year..

against a kevin love-less cavs that is at best a reach.
Pau's defense is one of the big reasons the bulls dropped alot this year. When he is on the floor you can see lebron going to the post more comfortably because he know the help D isn't going to be very good. Case in point game 2.
Pau's floorspacing is overrated and his post up game isn't needed in a series where perkins/mozgov/thompson are all good post defenders. The only exploitable post defender was love and he isn't playing.
Pau's effect on this series is the depth he gave to the bulls frontcourt (against foul trouble!) .. which is a big loss but not kevin love level. The cavs would have destroyed the bulls with love. Destroyed. Just a horrible matchup for the bulls.

Good post..agreed. Also a healthy Irving this series is about to be closed tonight..Cavs at full strength would have destroyed the Bulls..

Except Kobe has as many rings as Lebron has Finals appearances.
What's the point of going to the Finals if you aren't going to win?
Making the Finals isn't any better than losing early in the Playoffs. Lebron is still a loser.

he doesn't like magic. He considers Magic to be out of top 10 all time and considers bird to be top 5 easily because bird played in the tougher conference at that time.
Ask him.

if teams/players/anyone with sense thought how you did, then there wouldn't be any form of competition heading into the Finals :facepalm

'06 Heat

all these teams were underdogs going in and had they known they had very little likelihood of winning, and copped out like you suggested , they all wouldnt be Champions.
stop being stupid and use a little common sense rather than being a blatant troll
as for losing early in the playoffs vs losing in the Finals...hold these references and sit in the corner: Melo, CP3, Nash, GHill (tho injury plagued)

Yes, they were underdogs and are now champions, but Lebron is still 2/5 so what's your point?
