View Full Version : has LeBron finally become an alpha right before our eyes?

is it time to stop hating on him?

he's not afraid to shoot the ball, he's not flopping, he's taking the final shot, he briefly removed the headband (baby steps)

it took him 30 years to finally become a man. it is known it takes fatherless boys longer to develop, can we really hold it against him?

I think we owe Kyrie and J.R. Smith for rubbing off on him in a positive way, helping LeBron become the alpha we see today. Those metrosexuals in Miami were doing a number on LeBron's psyche.

tonight's game will answer the most important question in the NBA today, has LeBron finally become an alpha male? tune in folks, we might be witness.

I would categorize him as a pseudo-Alpha

do you really get credit for taking the final shot when the game is tied? either way you don't lose the game right away...there's literally not much pressure

i was thinking the same, its somewhat a win/draw situation, no wonder he came up "clutch"

When LeClank shoots them out of the playoffs, let's see if he takes any responsibility. He's probably going to blame Blatt or Love.

it's happening people, it's beautiful, it's like watching a tadpole turn into a frog in the middle of a basketball game.

16 points, 0 assists, early second quarter LeBron has finally arrived.

this thread isn't really about that final shot, it's more about his new found alpha chucking mentality, he's not been afraid to shoot jumpers this series.

Chucking is not alpha.

:oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol:

it is the most alpha thing you can do on a basketball court. it's probably not the best way to win a game or shoot at a high percentage, but it is by far the most alpha thing you can do. please do tell me what's more alpha than ignoring your teammates, demanding the ball then taking contested shots because you know you're better than they are.

maybe ignoring the fact that basketball is being played and straight ****ing everyone on the court in the ass? Never busting a nut.

I mean, if you wanna look at it the way you're looking at it, I'd say that's more alpha.

Probably, but it's preferable that public opinion still doesn't trump facts. I see your point though. Still a top-8 player ever.

If he wanted the respect of all, he would of never left Cleveland in 2010. He doesn't really care what the public thinks of him, he's been villain #1 since he signed with the Heat and seems to only care about, for the very least, making it to the Finals year on out and coming away with at least 1 ring post-Miami

Taking the final shot of a tie game is nothing; no pressure. Take the final shot when you're down 1, then we'll re-visit.

So coaches should have their 5 worst shooters on the court to take the last shot of a tie game?

Umm........no? And what does that have to do with whether a player has the guts to take the shot?

Because you shoot it to win the damn game. Too say LeBron feels no pressure in taking the last shot of a tie game is foolish. Dude lives under a microscope and is pressured in every aspect of basketball.

Does he really seem afraid of anything to you right now?

Assuming that his 15% attempts on 3s goes up, we could potentially be seeing the most alpha and dominant version of him yet.

With the Spurs out there's no team in the west that will give him problems. Give the Cavs problems, sure. But he doesn't look like he's going to be backing down from anything or anyone. They're gonna be a tough out for anyone that wins the west (again, assuming that his abysmal shooting from deep doesn't continue. which I think is fair).
