It's nice and all, but he needs to win at least one more ring before he's done.

Yes he does. Needs three at least. I think he gets one more, maybe two, but with everything else, top-5 is not out of the question (provided he wins one more with Finals MVP).

Bron came out of HS.

So this discredits the 30-5-5 stat how? Because he was good enough to start putting up games like that at 21? :facepalm

BTW: Duncan > Bron

We already knew he was better than Kobe.

Duncan won rings in 3 different decades. Damn near untouchable. You need some shit like a 6/6 perfection in the finals stat to be considered better.

oh the horror

Kobe wasn't jumping teams to stay relevent midway through his career bud.

At the end of the day this is all you kids have to hang onto. His stats. The same way Lebron does. He has a losing record in the finals and had to jump around for quick fix solutions to win rings. He continues to beast in a shit conference.

Have at it.

you gonna compare being drafted to the Cavs organization compared to the Lakers? come on we both know better than that.

And even then Kobe wanted to be traded to Chicago for a while until he got Gasol

No shit. Duncan to me is top-5 at worst and I think he's top-3 ever, behind only MJ and Kareem.

See the demand to be traded to Chi link above...was basically a done deal

U mean the same stats Kobe stans, including yourself, made sure was referenced for weeks on when it came to milestones? Obviously stats matter, as better stats usually leads to continued success.

As for the latter on losing record in the finals...hold onto this and try to refute it:

PLAYOFF AVERAGES THRU 30 YRS OLD:

Jordan: 35 PPG / 7 APG / 50% FG
Lebron: 28 PPG / 6 APG / 48% FG

FINALS AVERAGES THRU 30 YRS OLD:

Jordan: 36 PPG / 8 APG / 50% FG
Lebron: 24 PPG / 6 APG / 46% FG

MJ averaged MORE ASSISTS despite undertaking a 25% higher scoring load in the playoffs and a whopping 50% higher scoring load in the Finals (36 PPG to 24 PPG) - indeed, Lebron needs 1.5 Finals games to match 1 from MJ.. Btw, all this is on better efficiency with less TO's.

his competition out east is too weak to only have 2 rings, relative to Kobe, Jordan, and their success.
