Here is Shaquille O'Neal's son Shareef O'Neal playing with California Supreme this past weekend in Houston at the 2015 Big Cup. Shareef is currently a freshman at Windward High School in Los Angeles, CA. Shaq flew out just to watch his son play despite having to work as an NBA Analyst on TNT during the playoffs that day. Huge shoutout to Take My Talent for the footage. Stay tuned for more of Shareef and many others on Hoopmixtape.

Orlando Magic will draft this Kid. He then signs with the Lakers when he becomes a Free Agent.

Don't know how to rank him, that video showed absolutely nothing.

If that is really ALL he can do he won't even end up a Top 100 recruit.

He could be a good PF tho.

Edit: @ Above, he's a freshman in HS, right? Plus name recognition. He'll go where he wants to go and probably start, bet.

Shoots 70-75 % from the line tho :applause:

He is a freshman? How old is he then? I don't really understand the American terms too well. I'm guessing 13 or 14? If so, that is absolutely nuts that he is already 6'8...

He is 6'8 and has the coordination and athleticism of a 5'11 PG. Scary potential there.

Not sure how big he'll get, but if he can learn to play like his dad, or even learn some moves from Wilt Chamberlain for that matter, two guys who knew how to use their size/athletic gifts to their advantage...ALONG with developing his game the way he's playing, the spacing problems he'd create would be ridiculous.

He needs to learn it now though before it becomes too awkward for him, like learning a language when you're too old. You can pick it up, but not as well as you could have

What moves is he going to learn from Wilt? He's long gone and there's hardly any tape on him. Aren't you one of Laz' alts anyways?

with the new emphasis on the 3, a center of great size/athleticism/skill would be in perfect position to kick it out for someone to shoot a 3 because they'll be facing them with a back to the basket style of play. That spacing problem will either allow thatperson rack up a bunch of points not getting doubled, or if they are rack up a bunch of assists. Zones can only do so much

Wilt's Back to the basket finger roll which is using length, and athleticism to an advantage overwhelming the defender can be useful. It's also a decent way to draw a foul as they'll possibly hit the back of his hand. Also his fade away bank shot, just like Tim Duncan.

Know you were trolling, but common now lol. He doesn't have to play just like them, but why not learn from the greats. Especially when one of them is your father :lol

Shaq was 6'8 at age 12. Kid seems close to that pace...but seems far less athletic.

He lacks his fathers crazy strength and athleticism at this point.
And it`s not very likely we will have a Shaq 2.0. One in a billion.
But who knows.

kid looks like the next Anthony Davis. at the very least he will be 6'11 but has potential to be a legit 7 footer. That coordination is what's eye-catching though. at worst he will be a role player in the NBA.

His name alone will get the scouts to check him out but there is no substitute for hardwork so he better work his ass off. I hope to see him drafted someday. :applause:

Where he joins Austin Rivers and they win three rings before Austin gets jealous and asks for him to be traded.

Noticed a lot of sons and relatives entering college lately. Cassell Jr I think was going Uconn then he jced. Not sure what he's doing now. DRob's son is a walk on at duke. Manute's son is like 6-11 already and he's 14 or 15. And his name is ****ing Bol Bol, so he already won in life. Danny Green's brother is like a soph or jr in high school right now. There's another Greek Freak out there in the us high schools. Just watched his video a month or so ago and he's actually pretty good. Felton has a nephew in 2017 going to unc and he's top 5/10 in his class. Grandmama's son is going to Stephen F. Austin next year. I remember a video a couple years ago of Bibby's son getting so riled up with the refs that the cops needed to escort him out of the building. Zo's son is going to G'town next year. Kemp's son just finished his career at udub. Payton's son is actually one of the better players in the Pac 12. Sabonis's had a very strong frosh year at Gonzaga.

And obviously you got like Klay, Curry, Hardaway Jr, Kobe, Ed Davis, Dunleavy, Love, Wiggins and the other legacies in the NBA right now.

Contrary to popular belief, Shaq did work his ass off. You don't get to have post skills like he does without putting in the work. Shaq has tremendous foot work and handles for his size.

He's a freshman....

He's a 6'8" freshman and he's DIESEL for a kid his age.

He's going to have access to best training/nutrition/coaching opportunities years before his peers do.

Chances are he's going to be highly recruited in a few years

I'd be shocked if he doesn't end up in the NBA...looks like he has great athleticism for his size

Future Hall of Famer.

You know Shaq is grooming him to be the GOAT and with all of Shaq's peers' sons coming in the league, you know he want to have bragging rights over them.

Probably got a competition going on to see who son will be the best.

"Brown was pleasantly surprised to learn that O'Neal, at more than 6-feet-6-inches tall, was not an adult member of the military (as appeared to be the case). The coach was even more pleased to discover that O'Neal was merely a freshman in high school
