Are you black? I'm not white or black but I've been around both race long enough to know that this post is true.

White people get butthurt about it? How about I tell blacks to stop bringing up slavery since none of them got enslaved?

I despise people who use their kids for these types of things: put kids of different skin-colours together at that age and they don't even notice race; start them off like this and they will always be thinking of themselves and others in terms of race. It is really a form of racialist indoctrination and child abuse, excused by pathetic individuals like the first moron to respond in this thread (this has nothing to do with what 'white people' think - the fact is it's a destructive mentality to instil into young black children, and they are the ones who will suffer from the consequences).

Spreading your petty grievances and neuroses to your children is despicable, and should be seen as such; unfortunately, some people will excuse anything as long as it be done by someone with dark skin pigmentation, and as long is it makes white people 'butthurt' (whatever that means).

White people already have the power so a banner saying so is basically just showing off.

That mentality is one of the things that keeps racism alive.

No one's saying that white kids will do it.

Let them have it. They use this stuff to try to rejuvenate the black population. White people use this stuff to promote violence against non-whites.

But to be real Black Power and White Power have different meanings.

Black Power movement comes from the 60s when blacks were trying to uplift themselves dealing with civil rights and things of that nature.

White Power was used by KKK and others trying to keeps blacks down.

Am I right?

historically disenfranchised people rallying for pride is not racism.

HOWEVER

historically dominant or in control groups rallying for pride can be seen as divisive.

Not sure why the OTC crowd doesn't get this dichotomy.

So you cant have pride if you're part of the historical "favorite?"

If you play for the Yankees or Lakers you cant have pride in your team?
If you work for Microsoft or GE or Proctor and Gamble you cant have pride in your work?
If you live in the US you cant have pride in your country?

**** dat! If other people can freely be proud of their race, so can white people.

Yes. But how does that answer the problem being addressed in the picture? No one should be rallying like that anymore... no african-american is getting lynched... even the segregation era is about 50-60 years over..

Those black kids are like all the white kids... both have nothing to do with slavery..

Steps to improve the lives of future African Americans:

1. Denounce the thug/gangster lifestyle of black youths/adults. This begins with pop culture. Young blacks look up to/emulate the wrong people. This has to change immediately and the effects won't be realized for years.

2. Change the family dynamic. Families need to be strong and supportive in their communities. Single mothers can't do it all themselves while the fathers contribute zero guidance or financial support for their offspring.

3. Promote education. Education needs to be prioritized among all other things. I realize some blacks are born into bad situations that hinder their education options, but a hard working student in a bad school can still move onto a good college or trade.

No education=No skills=No jobs=No Income --> Increase Crime

Agree, agree, and agree.

Those gangster wannabees promote violence and being a thug but they want the stereotyping of blacks to stop. :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

Then, if a black man gets good education and speaks very well... they call him an UNCLE TOM! A "SELLOUT THAT SUCKS UP TO THE WHITE MAN TO GET MONEY"

what a bunch of fcking idiots

The 1960s "black power movement" was largely American blacks that got suckered into being soviet puppets.

Not that they didn't have any legitimate grievances, but they were used by soviet agitators for their own purposes.
