While butler is taking like 15? It should be the other way around. Butler is clearly their best offensive AND defensive player. Drose should be second fiddle to butler.

Does rose still think hes MVP rose? Even mvp rose shot 40% in the postseason doe

sure

sorry man, your boy just aint that good at shooting

he has a good layup game, but his shot selection is kobe-esque (without the skill)

Because Jimmy B has a ton of responsibilities outside of scoring. Rose only has to defend cripples and white boys so he has plenty of energy left over for chucking.

Yeh sure carry the team offensively and guard Lebron James that sounds like a recipe for success.

Drose is averaging 23.8 fga per game while making 9 this series

9/23.8

less than 38%

thats AI numbers...

that is not a recipe for success either. bulls would be much better if they limited his shot attempts and moved the ball more. I see A LOT of posessions of rose chucking early shotclock jumpers, which is something a shooter of his caliber should never do.

throughout the playoffs this yr rose is average 21 points on 20 shots, at 39% fg

butler is putting up 23.2 on 17.4 shots for 45% fg.

butler has shown that he can produce offensively while guarding the opponents best perimeter player. there is literally no reason for rose to shoot more than butler if bulls want to win

dunno how he gets a pass by ish standards, dude chokes like theres no tomorrow. now that i think about it, another injury and he could not be able to choke anymore so he's going all in, full beta, now or never. CLANK!

Because nobody else besides Butler can score on a consistent basis.

going all in is cool and all but you gotta have the skill. don't get me wrong, i still see some slight alpha in him, this aint lebron beta level we talking about, but there is huge room for improvement

he has played in the east all his career and done nothing in the playoffs but make lebron look clutch, uncharted territory..

If you watch the games you can see who is calling the plays. But of course you aren't bright enough to see that. Do you know the role that a coach plays? Have you ever seen Butler carry a team? Last series when the pressure was light he's about a year away maybe. Answer these questions then I will hit you up with the next set.

I knew you try to go simple. Explain your answers if you can. Its your thread so this is a call out. When has Butler put the Bulls on his back in the playoffs when Rose wasn't playing or when he had to take a game off? Do you think Butler really wants to take the team over now? He's obviously tired now. Do you see Thibes calling somebody elses number? Thibes is a control freak, if you know anything - you know that.

This is what Rose is and always has been. A high volume scorer who didn't do much of anything else but get his. Why is anyone surprised?

Wouldnt surprise me if butler exploded ala james harden. He doesnt have the same green light that drose currently does, which is retarded. Their roles should be reversed. This is similar to the westbrok/kd dynamic where you have the much better/bigger/accurate shooter taking less shots. Drose is a homeless man's westbrok, while I can see butler putting up a 50/40/90 season. If butler gets the green light, watch out.

This is your thread. You can't hide behind ignorance and distraction. Who defines the roles of players? Rose is hurt and can't carry the weight every game. He passes a lot in those games early on - see game two. That's Butler's opportunity to take over the game. He doesn't. When you understand the game, its on him to do that. Rose never turns away a player hungry for the ball. Taj, knows that, Gas, knows that, Butler knows that.

So youre saying its butlers fault for not being more aggressive with his shot, and thibs fault for letting rose shoot 25 times a game?

You dont think rose himself is at fault for his poor shooting percentage?
