If you have never been to a game at Oracle Arena, I would highly recommend it. The energy and atmosphere in that building is unreal.

who are better to be judges, players who play in every teams stadium 82+ times a year, or people on the internet who most likely have only been to 1 stadium at the most? as someone who has never been inside the oracle I can't have an opinion of my own. but if players and coaches think they pump noise in then i'm inclined to believe them.

Im not buying it, I think he's just trying to stick up for the home fans.
Bill Simmons actually wrote a great article on NBA fans (http://proxy.espn.go.com/espn/page2/blog/index?name=simmons&entryDate=20070503).. its worth a read.

I don't care what you're buying, you're biased as *** warrior fan.
plenty of teams in the NBA pump crowd noise in artificially, it wouldn't be ground-breaking news if the Warriors also do it.

haha a biased ass warriors fan who's been watching the Dubs at Oracle for about 14 years now. The energy and atmosphere in that building is unreal and hasn't really changed over the years, the Warriors are just good now. Guess you just have to experience it to believe it.

Lol. It's freakin Oakland. The whole city is loud, obnoxious, and it gets down like that.

I've heard Memphis be pretty damn loud itself. But everything on the West coast is fake, I'm sure the crowd nose as well.

so Oakland is part of SF right? Its defined as a city on wiki which is weird cos I thought SF was a city, so its a city in a city?
edit: just researched further, so its just 1 of 3 major cities in SF Bay? Why Wouldn't the team be based in SF cos thats the biggest and best city in Nocal? Oakland is poverty I know this I seen that movie called fruitvale station.

i've been to a couple Raider games and the crowds do get rowdy but I wouldn't put it past any team in professional sports to pump noise in through the speakers.

Yep. Go into the kitchen of some Chinese restaurant and multiply that by 2500.

There are many cities in the Bay Area. The biggest is actually San Jose. Oakland and S.F. are separated by a bridge, the Bay Bridge. The new owners have been exploring building a new stadium on the S.F. side of the bridge.
