Where do you think his ceiling is?

He had a knack for grabbing double doubles in very limited minutes this year.

Reminds me a lot of David Lee.

Good rebounder, crafty, skilled with both hands, can score from all over.

So yeah I could see him becoming a David Lee type at best

I was hoping this wouldn't be a thread full of pictures, but whatever...

As long as he can screen, dunk, pass, block shots, and rebound he'll be a starting NBA center. If he adds that jumpshot to his game then he can do damage as a PF.

Can't really project actual stats for him because it's dependent on his offensive role and ability to evolve as a defender. I can confidently say that he won't be a #1 or #2 option for a playoff squad.

McGary seemed to have some game when he got minutes (though Brooks didn't give him much burn) but if he stays in OKC he won't get much playing time since they have Kanter(if he re sign), Ibaka, Adams and Durant can play the 4 sometimes. I don't think Collison will get much time this year since Brooks left.

He is pretty good offensively, I remember him dominating for Michigan when they made their run last year. However, he is really bad on defense which is the same problem Kanter has. So I don't know if I see much playing time for him.

Best case: energy big providing 15-20 min a game.

Bad back, lousy defender, limited on offense.

He's inexperienced so you can't really pass judgment on his defense yet.

It's like how everyone says Wiggins has all the tools and instincts to become a great defender, the only thing is he's very young and inexperienced. Being that they're both rookies, they're going to have to learn the ins and outs of the NBA before they make any kind of impact on defense.

It's VERY rare that a rookie comes into the league a solid defender.
