LIKE MIKE? PLENTY OF PEOPLE STILL DO
In a poll conducted by Public Policy Polling, 34% of people surveyed believe that Michael Jordan would beat LeBron James in a game of one-on-one today. That's 52-year-old, retired for 12 years MJ vs. the guy who just dropped 38 on the Bulls.

LOL.

Good point. Depends on how much current MJ has declined from Wizards MJ.

MJ was a hero for a lot people. No one will ever admit that Batman can lose to some new superhero.

*waiting for a discussion about superheroes.

Jordan is too competitive to do that. He would go HARD, get his ass busted, and probably seriously injure himself.

But just to be clear, prime MJ would TRASH prime LeBron in humiliating fashion.

If you gave MJ like 6 months to do nothing but train and get into shape, I truly believe he would be able to be competitive enough to at least take a game here or there.

The man has such a competitive nature, natural basketball instincts, and a great shot. I would not discount him if given a fair shot.

As of right now, he looks to be pretty out of shape and I think Lebron would manhandle him.

He wouldn't score a point. The only reason he'd score is if Bron felt sorry enough for his childhood hero.

Saying that, Bron would probably beat Jordan in his prime in a game of one on one. Jordan almost lost to Scott Burell in his prime and was too scared to go for another game after only winning by 1 in practice. Bigger players just have a natural advantage in one on one.

I don't want to insult your intelligence but you're talking about a 30 year oldl vs a 52 year old

To be fair there was a story about MJ clowning MKG in practice 1v1 a couple years ago, so maybe out of 10 games, MJ can win 1 if he gets hot

52 year old MJ could beat Lebron 1-on-1?! Right. And 82 year old Bill Russell could school Dwight Howard. Wait. Never mind.
