Tonight, Kirk Hinrich -29 in 20 minutes.0-0-0-0-1 statline

Kendrick Perkins became a household name for playing when it was obvious he was garbage

Tony Parker in the Spurs/Clippers series.

These guys are paid millions of dollars to coach in the nba.

Is it loyalty or stupidity?

Most of the time it's loyalty. Hinrich probably because of Gasol injury and matchups

In the case of Perkins, it's just cuz Scott Brooks is garbage

I always thought everyone knew Thibs was banging Kirk?

Coaches trust those guys and keep playing them, I think they don't trust young guys to perform specially during the playoffs. James Jones is another of those guys but I think he only plays because he's Lebron's friend.

It's a known commodity thing as well, same with how the same shit coaches keep getting jobs. Rather than taking a risk on an unknown they take the player/coach they already know. I imagine it also has to do with them being solid professionals off the court and not causing waves.
