will this be the greatest choke, in a playoff series, of all time?
how would this compare to the Lakers in 2006?

Clippers would def be a bigger choke because they actually had a talented team and 06 Lakers was just Kobe carrying them

Definitely. I don't think the clips are gonna lose game 7 tho.
Have a feeling Blake is gonna have a BEAST first half  , Rockets will make a run in the 2nd half but CP3 will close it out.

If the Clippers win game 7, it may be the biggest recovery in playoff history. I just don't see how you come back from what happened last night. That was an all-time devastating melt-down.

Agreed, but never underestimate Harden's ability to help the Clippers. I am hoping Rockets win it though.

It is embarrassing enough as it is that this even went to 7.

I will never respect Chris Paul or Blake Griffin again if they lose that game. I know they could give a f*ck but as far as posting on this board those players would be dead to me.

:lol Bryant was almost outplayed by Lamar Odom in those playoffs.

Lakers didn't choke. They won 3 close games before the Suns remember they were the better team and take over.

Clippers are the better team and they outplayed the Rockets almost the whole time. Never seemed to me that the Rockets stood a chance. But now playing the game 7 away, Rockets are favorites.

Lakers in 06 in no way were supposed to win that series. It was a miracle they won 3 games.

Clearly didn't watch the Lakers that season.

Check out Odom and Kwame's post touches compared to the regular season. Phil decided the only way to slow down Phoenix's fast breaks was to make them defend the low post and not run out on long shot misses.

Tmac and the magic choked pretty bad vs Detroit

LeBeta stans showing they didn't watch basketball before 2010 and taking the L.

And this Clippers choke job would be epic, but right in line with this clown franchise and their "leader".

No, there have been many worse than that would be. It's just a comeback, not a choke. Houston has had the better defense in the past and they finally ramped it up and started using it. I have no clue where their game went the few games they got blown out. Harden had also vanished, but I think it was more of him adjusting the way that the refs were calling the game than anything.

if i were on the clippers, id feel confident. you only lost because josh smith went off, and what are the odds he plays like that, raining threes, two games in a row.

I'm sorry, but finishing the game on a 49-15 run is not "just a comeback." An epic choke is involved there as well.

Depending on how they play, I would really question the leadership intangibles of Doc Rivers and Chris Paul.

Yep -- that series was fun as hell to watch, but it wasn't a series that made suns fans feel good about their chance to make a run.

Mchale needs to bench him the entire game.
