And the first to lose 3/5 of those finals. Difference is Russell won.

Replace LeBron on any of the teams he's been on with any other superstar in the league, and you'd get the same result. It's the East. Name any other superstar. Srs

Its hard to even find a consistent top 5 player from 2011-2015... it's no guarantee for one to do it in that same year, either.

'Big 3' sounds nice, but Bosh was basically out for the ECSF and ECF, LeBron played at an all-time level... Wade and Bosh stunk it up one year later in the ECF, Bosh may have had the WOAT all-star season... you could see how BAD the Heat were as a team in 2014, when it was required for Bron to drop 49 to not have a tie series at 2 against the NETS.
Then his clutch work, all-around / defensive brilliance in 2011... this is a bunch of BS with the 'replace' card, you know it.

Wasnt The path to the finals a series shorter for Russell too bc there were only 8 teams in the league? (Seriosusly)

Soon to be 3/5

I like the Cavaliers chances of winning an NBA title this season. Irving just needs to be healthy in the conference finals.

Besides, Russell played with tons of HOFers, and LeBron has Dellavewhatever as his sidekick!

CP3
Duncan
Durant (outside of his injury this year, he probably would have accomplished more in a shorter span of ECF/Finals appearances)
Griffin
Melo

lol he can't be 3/5. He is currently 2/5, can only be 2/6 or 3/6.

CP3 would choke and can't play PF like Bron has had to do
Duncan Can't run an offense, who else is going to? Chalmers? JR Smith?
Durant (outside of his injury this year, he probably would have accomplished more in a shorter span of ECF/Finals appearances) Only chance but now injuries have to be a possibility, and 5 years ago he would not.
Griffin Fades into the background too often once teams focus on him. Despite his assist numbers, he can't run an offense.
Melo Never.

that's equivalent to a 5-peat compared to the soft 90's era.

How is he gonna be healthy, honestly?

Doesn't seem as though he is gonna magically heal. Maybe he will, but I don't see it happening.

This is a weird year, so many injuries.

Merely getting to the Finals is particularly unimpressive in Lebron's case, because it's not like with Shaq/Kobe where the best team was in the conference finals - for each of Lebron's Finals appearances, the best team he faced was always IN the Finals, where Lebron is only 2/5.

What's the point of going to the Finals 5 years in a row if you're only going to be 2/6? All he's doing is shortening his career and destroying his knees and legacy.

I agree - especially if the best team he faces all year is IN the Finals - he has to beat that team.. he can't be 2/5

.
Who cares OP - less was required from Lebron to MAKE those Finals:

PLAYOFF AVERAGES THRU 30 YRS OLD:

Jordan: 35 PPG / 7 APG / 50% FG
Lebron: 28 PPG / 6 APG / 48% FG

FINALS AVERAGES THRU 30 YRS OLD:

Jordan: 36 PPG / 8 APG / 50% FG
Lebron: 24 PPG / 6 APG / 46% FG

Btw, as the stats show, MJ averaged more assists, despite carrying a 25% higher scoring burden in the playoffs and whopping 50% more in the Finals, all with less TO's and better efficiency.. 1.5 Finals games from Lebron is required to match 1 game from MJ (which is an astounding display of superiority from MJ).

So what? You would rather have him intentionally lose in the first round?
