View Full Version : When Rockets/Clippers lose tomorrow

what is their 2014/2015 legacy to you?

Rockets lose: aint gonna lie they disgusted me games 1, 3 and 4. not because the lost but they way they lost. they didn't show any effort or heart those games and it pissed me off. however i do give them credit for pushing it to game 7 after the earlier letdowns. if they lose tomorrow i'm ok with it as long as they showed some fight. they are one of the most hated teams this year but they have made it farther than most people predicted so everything from here on out is all gravy.

clippers lose: i think they are the more polished team this series and the eye test says they should win. if they lose it will be another stain on CP's legacy and reputation although i think it's undeserved. the west is brutal and every team 1-8 is legit.

that being said can't wait to see the rockets in the wcf

2nd seed, game 7 at home, all the momentum, with the runner up MVP = choked.

Up 3-1, while the Rockets look like complete ass, and still managed to choke = ... choke

Loser choked. Winner probably gets bent over by the Warriors and ends up as a footnote on the season.

If Clippers win I think they'll give GSW some trouble.

If Rockets win they probably get swept.

People underestimating Rockets again. They can beat the Warriors if they advance.

If the Clippers advance I'd say they have a legit shot against GSW...they match up well against them.

but I have a feeling they get bounced tonight...Harden steps up his game tonight and the hobbling CP goes fishing yet again leaving another black mark on his career.

but Houston has no shot at against GSW...if Harden has troubles against this Clippers team, can't imagine what it will be like against the best defensive team in the league.

A game to decide by who chokes less. I love it! LOL

Rockets: TBH, this is exactly where I envisaged the Rockets to end up. Advance to 2nd round, pushed the opponent to the max, maybe a 6-7 game series, but that's it. To lose today would meet regular season expectations, nothing more.

Clippers: You've got Paul, Griffin, Jordan for so long, and still can't make it to the WCF? And you get beaten by a team that only got assembled 2 years ago, has two starters out, and a bunch of new guys who just got brought in this season (Ariza, Terry, Prigioni, Smith, Brewer). Will be a disappointment for Clippers.

Go Rockets!

Both have made good seasons. The loser won't see this season as a disappointment.

Witout two starters. D-MO is the most skilled post player in the league, and Beverley is an impact player on both ends. Just stop it. Even if you consider the Rockets losing a choke, it's not nearly as big of one as the Clippers losing. Best player in the playoffs, ALL-NBA Jordan, Top 5 player in CP3. Deep team, great coach, up 3-1, and now they may lose 3 straight.

Legacy? No one will give a **** about (or even remember) either of these teams in 5-10 years. They'll be looked at in the same regard as the Iverson/Melo Nuggets or the Jason Kidd/Penny Hardaway Suns.

But you obviously remember those teams
