beta cuck hipsters will support it, because groveling and sychophanting before women is the only way they can get one.

Article did say she was interim CEO tho. Doubt she holds onto the job permanently. Not allowing negotiation sounds like a really good way to piss of a lot of your employees. They could easily allow negotiations and then correct for any gender bias in the process by looking at their payroll data. But then that would require them to potentially increase payroll instead of just handing out bonuses and raises based on whatever criteria they feel like using at the time.

Do you actually believe there are glass ceilings?
It's weird, because you guys on the left are the ones who WANT glass ceilings.... And glass floors.
I'm fine with any person earning as much money as they possibly can or achieving any amount of success they can. You guys are the ones who want everything compressed and "more equal".
It might shock some people, but I'm fine with this. It's their company. They can run it however they see fit.

It doesn't shock anyone you think this.

Well, it's not the way I would run a business, but if they want to "ban" contract negotiations, then fine. If an employees don't like it, they will vote by staying with the company or exploring other options.

reddit is the worst. if you dont conform to their personality type, they will down vote you and possibly have your comment hidden. I think some should get a class action lawsuit against reddit for creating a social forum on a public domain that infringes on our first amendment rights.

Or you could do a little research and figure out why that has nothing to do with the first amendment.

Definitely a bunch of ass kissers on that site.
Also, the CEO and her husband have a shady reputation. They're heavily despised even on Reddit.

Hilarious. Good that's it's just reddit, a news and social forum only, a company that has little bearing on the real economy.
She doesn't understand basic economics, or was so jilted by what happened to her in the past that it has clouded her judgement.
Being able to negotiate for a salary is a benefit to the worker, especially if they know they bring value and have irreplaceable skills. Not letting employees negotiate give other tech firms a competitive advantage in hiring.

How will the usual leftist tards reconcile their pro feminist idiocy while also supporting a corporation telling the employees "take it or leave it. You will not even be permitted the opportunity to negotiate".

Imagine if Reddit had a high black employment rate like the NBA or the post office.

Retarded logic from the CEO because she's basically saying that women inherantly suck at negotiating salary. It's a patronizing attitude and she's basically saying men need to be held back to be truly equal with women.
Not the message Ellen Pao wanted to send. What a dumbass.

Her augment seems to be "if women negotiate as aggressively as men, we at reddit will probably punish them for their aggressiveness".
Ok, so don't punish them then. That's a you problem. The CEO of reddit is arguing that "reddit is so likely to discriminate against women, that we can't trust ourselves to negotiate fairly".
