This is the list of the most "carried" players of all time. Players who have been carried are notorious for not being able to achieve great things on their own, needing great teammates to be good players. A guy like Bill Russell, for example, was always surrounded by great teammates but he never failed to get things done without them
So without further adieu
PG of the "all carried team" Stephen "carry'd" Curry!
Carried by: Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andrew Bogut, Harrison Barnes, Andre Iguodala
I'd like to know in what world shooting under 40% and having 5 turnovers gets you a 20 point win. In the west. This chucking manlet already received the most carried MVP award ever (seriously that team wins 70+ games with CP3 or Godbrook) and is on a fast track to win the most carried NBA title ever
SG: Kobe Bryant
Carried by: Shaq, Gasol, Bynum, Odom, great coaching
Kobe is a cold blooded savage unlike LeBeta but he has been carried constantly throughout his career. Put up crazy numbers when he had 0 help in 04-05-06-07 but had mediocre season results and didn't make his teammates better. And don't give me any of that CHECK THE PLAYOFF STATS GOATBE GOAT, because Shaq was drawing doubles left and right and kicking to Kobe. He is easily he most alpha on this list though
SF: (and captain) LeBeta James!
Carried by: Wade, Bosh, Irving, Love and the two biggest ones, the refs and Ray Allen
Seriously how do people consider this guy a top 10 player ever? He constantly choked in the playoffs when it was "his" team in Cleveland and didn't start winning until the refs bailed him out against a very washed up Celtics team and Ray Allen bailed him out against a solid Spurs team. Unless he wins the title this year, he'll always be a coattail rider
PF: Tim Duncan:
Carried by: Pop, David Robinson, Manu, Parker, Kawhi Leonard, Robert Horry, Bruce Bowen, Danny Green, ETC
Probably the luckiest guy in NBA history. Definitely respect his game but the Spurs struggled in the playoffs the years they weren't stacked (the Richard Jefferson era). Great player in a great franchise
Center: Wilt Chamberlain
Carried by: Gail Goodrich, Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, bunch of no names that were nasty role players in the day (I'm not 60 so idk who they are, can someone on ISH confirm?)
Couldn't ever get past the Celtics until his team got more and more loaded. Left his team twice in lebron fashion (except by trade) and attempted to create super teams (which came up short in the finals like 4 times before he finally won)
Coach: Phil Jackson
carried by: Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Shaq, Kobe, Gasol, Bynum
Seriously what has this guy done as a coach aside from coach the best players ever? I bet Theo could've won that many titles with those casts
There you have it, the all time NBA carried starting lineup
