Let's go Rockets, Warriors beating up a team that didn't belong in the playoffs and a team that can't score and were missing their best defender for a key stretch. Rockets beat the team that beat the defending champs and came back down 1-3. Get it done, Rockets

Let's go Warriors, Rockets beating up a team that had to fire their starting PG mid series and a team who had an injury hampered known chocker. Warriors didn't require a team to implode to get out of the 2nd round.

So the last games mean nothing, because the starters were different, but games before the 2014/2015 season matter, allthough players like Parsons, Asik, and Lin started last year.

Let's go Rockets, Warriors beating up a team that didn't belong in the playoffs

They would have beaten up any team that was the 8th seed, regardless if they "belonged" or not.

The consensus is the Warriors are going to destroy the Rockets and that's tough to argue, period.

As for regular season versus now, I never put much stock into it. Its funny because if the Rockets play the injury card and claim that we don't have Beverley or D-Mo it still doesn't feel like it matters really. But you take away 1 or 2 players due to injury from the Warriors and it feels like it would have a much larger impact than getting those 2 back for Houston.

The Warriors are the better team on paper and to the eye, its the Warriors Chip to lose and the Rockets to steal.

Regular season wins goes out of the window in the playoffs. So many factors go into wins and losses during that time. The season is long. A series will show who has the heart and guts to take it to the competitor.

Go Warriors!

I hate to say it, but yes, the Rockets pretty much need the Warriors to nut up and choke (lose this series by not having the heart and guts) because from a talent stand point, GSW > HOU.

Will bump this thread in about a week and a half, then we can discuss the real 0-4 against the Warriors.

lol

NOLA has AD, a top 5 player in the league. Warriors had to beat the team that beat defending champs! If NOLA was in the east, they'd make it to the eastern conference finals.

Tony Allen expended too much energy trying to face the Warriors and got tired. He rested in game 5 for game 6, but his poor shot had to take him off the court. Good player though. But as he says, he got beat by 2011 Kobe Bryant for 1st team defense. :(
