I can only imagine...

Damn.

League bout to screw Atlanta over hard. No way they'd want them in the Finals over Bran and company. Ratings will be absolutely terrible, regardless of whoever comes out West. :facepalm

So YOU tell ME. How fixed will this series be?

ApexPredator

Very. They will make sure Cavs get a series lead, then relax unless the Hawks show signs of a comeback.

Yep.

Honestly, Atlanta would need to blow Cleveland out of the water for them to even win games. Like, i'm talking about a 20-25 point margin for the Hawks to win comfortably. Anything under that, the refs will find some way to **** them over.

Seriously, has there ever been a team with ALL odds against them? In a conference finals for that matter?

The NBA, refs, casuals, degenerate gamblers.. Hell, that doesn't even include their roster or fanbase who are chronically undermined.

If the Hawks win this series, it'll go down as one of the GOAT upsets. In any sport.

Can Adam Silver heal Kyrie Irving?? It might be a long series if Irving is 50% healthy in the Conference Finals. Coach Blatt believes he's going to play in Game 1.

Expect LeBron to bring his A-Game in the conference Finals. No More Jimmy Butler in the conference and NBA Finals.

I disagree. I think the NBA likes the new look of the league.

The era of superstar wing players and low scores and lots of free throws won some fans and it has lost others. Fans like the high pace, the high scores, the beautiful team play.

Horford and Teague won't get the jersey sales of a superstar individual like Lebron James or Harden, but at the same time, fans I know don't want to watch those guys take 15 free throws a game, they want to watch teams like the Warriors and Hawks outshoot and outsmart each other.

Also, because the game is so fast now, all the superstars are spending half their careers injured anyway. The era of dominant individual superstars is done with, over.

If the NBA is wise, they'll ride this new generation of NBA play.

He had 1 week rest. I think he will be better.
He is going to play all the games.
Irving is a warrior. He won't accept sitting out games.

We also heard this song before the 2013 finals and ECF.

Talk about short term memory. Looks like some retards forgot all about the 2009 Magic knocking out the Cavs in 6 when everyone was hyping for a Kobe/Lebron Finals.

I won't be surprised if the commentators openly show their support for the cavs. They pretty much did for Washington the entire series.

Marketing the next Shaq, and most dominant big man of his era vs Lebron the young MJ. The league and refs didnt care who would win it was going to be marketable either way until Orlando shit themselves

The Spurs made too many finals for anyone rational to think the NBA setups up the sexiest matchup. And they already signed the next tv deal. These ratings cant do anything to help or hurt it now. But im sure Silver is just dying to go to federal prison over fixing games to gain nothing....

He looks like the type hungry for the street cred.

There are way too many conspiracy theorists on ISH. :facepalm

The Hawks definitely have a legitimate shot against the Cavs, they just need to play with confidence and regain their mid-season mojo. The Cavs are nowhere close to unbeatable, and the NBA is not going to fix any games. Not to say the league wouldn't prefer the Cavs and the best ratings for the Finals, but they are going to let the chips fall where they will, as they always have. One Tim Donaghy does not equal a league wide conspiracy.

Pacers were favored over heat the past two ecfs and Spurs were favored the past two finals. Hopefully, it's more even this year.

The NBA can help push a team over the top. They can't perform miracles when LeBron becomes worthless to his team as he pouts.

Do the refs work directly for the NBA or are they working for a 3rd party organization separate from the NBA?

This rigging bullshit needs to stop.

It doesn't need to be fixed for the Hawks to get swept. They are terrible.

LeBeta + Dellavedova + Gatorade guy + Kid who mops the sweat off the floors + Random fan would still sweep the Hawks.

You literally have down syndrome if you believe the Pacers were favored over the 66 win Heat with the league MVP in the 2013 ECF. The Heat were still favorites last year too without HCA

However, if the Hawks win, Lebron is a loser.

I think there is no denying that sometimes the league gives the home team very questionable calls in an effort to extend the series. Game 6 between GSW and MEM was literally 5v8. I watched the entire game and I could not believe the blatant one-sided officiating.
