Makes friends, enemies, falls in love etc then it gets creepy and the other posters seem to know things about the guy they shouldn't. The the twist is all the other posters are alternate personalities and the main guy is a nutjob talking to himself. Any relation to real life events is purely coincidental

great movie and similar but the forum exists. I imagine he starts noticing profile pics that were taken near his house/from posters on his walls/finding notes from people in hos house etc. I picture it set in Arkansas.

The movie is over a decade old. After a certain amount of time, the spoiler is all certain movies are known for. Did you know Bruce Willis was dead the whole time? SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!

Shes too old, this is set in high school remember? Maybe you can find a younger actress and there can be a plot line where Simon thinks shes talking to a girl at the school but then catches you sleeping with her and gets angry because he thought she liked him based on their ISH chats. A girl on ISH is a stretch though so maybe that girl needs to be a tranny, has lolcats wife could get the role he's done well acting through out his life.
