You join ranks of the fans of the Knicks, Raptors and Bobcats. After that, you should think about how privileged you've been for the last several decades of so much bought out success... unless your a bandwagon fan then it doesn't apply.

Well, im going to stay an LA Laker fan forever, but really, we have an 83 percent chance to get top 5..

Even if we get top 5, who do we target because i don't think we'd get lucky enough to get top 2-3 .

Tank again and get an even better player next year. You could give up this years 6th pick or next years 1-8

You don't deserve it. Lakers have had enough success. Time for a change.

What does top 5 projected pick mean? Like the lakers pick 1st and then select kaminsky?

I laugh at all the guys who wanted the team to tank every game, or bitched and moaned when a rookie PG or one of the other young guys would have a great game :lol

The Lakers shouldn't even need to rely on top draft picks to get back to the conference Finals. The main reason they stink is because of horrendous front office management and ONLY horrendous front office management.

It should not be difficult to get top notch free agents to come to LA (and ultimately put together a roster that can go deep into the playoffs) like it is for teams like Minnesota, Milwaukee, or Detroit. Bottom line, Lakers management is clearly incompetent and they are the primary reason why the Lakers are a terrible team these days and are now looking for a bailout via the NBA Draft.

Sorry Laker fans, but your team absolutely doesn't deserve a top 3 draft pick given the other ways you should be able to bring in top talent at any given time. Teams like Minnesota, Sacramento, Detroit, and Philly need the help far more than you do (those cities aren't desired destinations for top free agents).

Maybe the Lakers fans want home grown talent for a change instead of free agents? It's more satisfying watching young home grown talent develop.

You shook. Last five years or so have been plenty of time for some of you losers to get somewhere.

Right, but my point is that there are many other teams who can't draw top free agents at all regardless of what they do (and have no choice but to rely on the draft to get decent talent) so they should be the one's first in line for top draft picks, NOT a team in a desirable, high profile city like LA.

More than half of the top 5 guys bust year in and year out. The Lakers don't need their draft pick this year, they already have premium young talent with insane upside in Randle and Clarkson. Clarkson was going to be a lottery pick until he was questioned in a murder case two weeks before the NBA draft. How many NBA teams can say they have two players like that? Lakers are in a great spot

:biggums: Clarkson isn't La'el Collins.

Lakers need to trade that pick to the Knicks.

It would be a disaster. Management will still try to do something in the FA so the team won't be so bad but it won't be playoff caliber either, witch means we would end up with something like the 10th pick next year. And the next year our pick belong to the Magic.

Shook? Cool use of the trendy word.

Not 'shook' at all. The last 5 years of Lakers being totally irrelevant have been great.
