My concern with the 30 mil in cap space is that we get most of that tied up for a while with a max offer to Butler, which the Bulls will match anyway, and by that time many of the best free agents could be gone. The Lakers then might make crazy offers to players like Rondo and Carroll just to get someone, which would not be ideal at all.
