I'm looking forward to him being the first player to win a title while shooting 20% on more than 15 attempts.

I never thought he would retire after this season. He just loves the game too much. The only reason he was considering it was because of all the devastating injuries he's suffered the last few season.

Looks like a pretty good roster but with a glaring weakness at the shooting guard position.

Yeah, he will. He's not "Kobe" on the court anymore and he knows it.

At the end of the day, everyone is shitting their pants right now. Lakers haters are in for a horror story of a season...
How do they always manage to do it? We're in store for another LAL super squad...
Kobe/Shaq/Malone/Payton
Kobe/Nash/Gasol/Howard
and now they're going to do it again... god damn...

obviously health plays 90% into winning titles
in 2004
kobe = injured most of the year/ recovering
shaq = 350 pounds/ completely lost all mobility
malone = old/injured
payton = old/sucking
in 2013
kobe = torn achilles before playoffs
howard = back surgery/injured most of the year /recovering
nash = injured most of the year/old as f*ck
gasol = sucking most of the year/injured too
i mean... if both those teams are healthy and in shape they win 70+
