Steph Curry is already the leader of 30/5/5 games this post season and he throws up another.
34 points, 5 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 turnover on 59% FG%, 73% TS%
Hats off to this man with another dominating performance. Showing everyone once again why he is the MVP.

There was a play where Terry hit a 3 then started talking smack to Curry, Curry responded with a 3 the very next possession & another 3 a few moments later. Terry stayed quiet after that.:oldlol:

Curry has a good chance at becoming the 2nd PG in NBA history to win both MVP and FMVP.
Until now the only PG to win both awards is Magic Johnson.

One of the few Warriors games I have been lucky enough to catch this year.
So honest question... are Curry's games always this easy? He had some ridiculous shots/plays, make no mistake, but it seemed like he fed off of his team's energy and plays rather than the other way around.
Now, all due respect to Curry.. he is the one that hit those shots. He is the one that can dribble that way. Maybe it's his greatness that makes it look easy? But all too often I was caught thinking... why is Curry open? Why is Capela/Howard/Smith the one guarding Curry? Seems like Curry's teammates and the Rockets' stupidity made this game very easy for him.

Because he's not only a great on-ball player, he's one of the best in the league off-the-ball as well. AND he's one of the best screen setters despite his size. IMO that's what differentiates Curry from Harden and Westbrook. Those guys are very dangerous with the ball in their hands. Curry is dangerous from the time he steps through the midcourt line, with or without the ball, he terrorizes enemy defenses.

That's true. Indirect way of answering my question. Most skirted it, honestly.
I'm not saying Curry is not great, but it seems like the majority of his greatness is due to being on a great team. Not that they made him great, but rather he's not "Lebron great" in that he can't make a bad team really good. And again, that's no slight. Not many people are "Lebron great". Just a legit question.

Legit question.
The team is built around Curry and his strengths. He is not athletic. But he can shoot a 3 off the dribble with deadly accuracy. That's his special gift. So yeah he's great but the management also put him in the best position to succeed. He was never put into that position where he had to make do with the scraps a bad gm got him.

really?
How about when he was drafted and the couple of years following that. Those teams were pretty bad. Monta Ellis was outspoken about him and steph not being able to play together, and he was right, which is why they traded his ass for an all league defender in Andrew Bogut.
Joe Lacob and Bob Meyers deserve a lot of credit for not only signing steph to a contract extension when people thought he was fragile to building a championship contending roster.
But lets not act like Curry's entire career was full of sunshine and dandelions.

Because the Warriors are stacked 1-8.
Imagine if Harden was surrounded by Thompson, Barnes, Draymond... He'd be open a lot too.
Great game by Curry. Still needed a bum knee from Dwight to pull it out or we'd all be singing a different tune today.

You gonna act like its Harden's teammate's fault that Harden doesn't have a developed off ball game? Is this real life?
Dwight wasn't the reason you lost. Warriors went on their big run when he was in the game still. Dwight played 26 full minutes and ended up being -4 in +/- while Capela ended up -1.
Try another excuse though.

Right all of that is true. But you can't say that Steph could have carried that team back then to a WCF either. My point is, is that Warriors organization rebuilt the right way (under the new ownership). They built a team with good players around Curry.
