Good. Now give one to the rest of our team. They deserve it.
They're slowly building an identity for flopping and bitching bout calls. Kind of overtaking the Clippers in that area. I, as a fan of GSW, can't stand it.

Hmm. I watched the game and didn't notice a flop. Maybe I missed it, which play was this?

ESPN just said it happened with about 3 minutes left. Don't remember the play.

I saw a few obvious GS flops but none that deserved a fine.
I'd like to see which one they deemed worthy of a fine.

It was the pull up 3 he hit when Terrence Jones barely bumped him and he rolled over on to the floor.

Ohhh. That was some damn fine acting!
I was yelling at why they didn't call that foul because it genuinely looked like he got hit on the shot and just overcompensated for the shot with a body jerk and fell.

He did exaggerate it a bit, but his momentum was already spinning him before he shot.
There was minimal, and I mean jerseys touching type minimal, contact but I don't think that's worthy of a fine.

Chef curry with the flop
It was a foul tho!
I thought so too, and it might have been but I'm guessing they're fining him for exaggerating the contact the way he did.
Although, there have been times I've jerked my body to get more power into a shot when I got hit. I genuinely thought that's what happened with Curry.

If he got a fine for that particular play, then he should've gotten another fine for the and 1 floater he hit when Terry supposedly "shoved" him.
Flop State. I hate this. GOD I CANNOT STAND THIS TEAM ANYMORE!!!! I'm losing my mind.

+1
Especially since there was probably a little bit of contact. Curry's not even known for flopping.

I guess NBA is sending a message. Though it didn't look like much of a flop.
As long as they NBA is consistent across the board with the flopping fines then I'm ok with it.

Wth. He did sell it but there was contact. Did green ever get fine for the flop on Anderson ?

I don't think Steph flopped on that particular play, he just put up a weird floater and the refs blew the whistle.
The contact was so minimal, I'm not even sure Terry got more than just Curry's shorts on the shot.

Curry's contortions when in the presence of possible or legitimate contact sometimes appear to allow him to get off the shot as he pleases. If he had stuck in there and just shot straight up with Jones trailing and being in Curry's space as he was, I'm not sure Curry hits that shot - though perhaps there would have been more contact in that scenario.
He seems like a weird player to officiate in that regard. Whereas a lot of shooters look for the bailout by leaning in and sacrificing their shot, he seems to have a knack for contorting in a manner that allows him to attempt weird shots very quickly and with accuracy.

Jason Terry groped Currys ass on that floater. Was close to penetration.

Yes, this was the pull up 3 he made after pushing off on Brewer (below)...

If this is the right one, feel free to call an offensive foul, but a fine for flopping is a bit excessive.

As MVP of the league, Curry should be ashamed of himself. He's no better than Lebron. I know he looks like a baby, that's why his nickname is the Babyfaced Assassin, but seriously, grow the f*ck up. There is no room in the league for MVP's flopping. It's bush league and something only Lebron would do. You can now add Stephen Curry to that list, f*cking punk ass bitch.

Then again, even then, I'm not sure I'd call that one fine-worthy. The roll didn't hit me as much as an attempted foul draw as it did a random post-shot action. It almost looks like he was already heading in that direction so he just decided to keep on going.

that could of been called an offensive foul right? or do the refs not usually call a shove like that on a fastbreak?

Should have. But Refs have not called pushoffs, unless it was a scrub doing it, since MJ in '98

I said the same thing...
Looks like he was already falling that direction, probably just easier to keep the fall going and roll out if it.

this is correct. obviously didn't want a bunch of contact after the shot with a dirty, smelly Josh Smith. Plus, he wouldn't have gotten any foul call for the additional contact. JVG said it was a foul afterwards, but meh; I don't like touch fouls.
ROFL for fine
Flops usually come with some kind of head snap back action. Blake Griffin and CP3 are great at it. Here's an example
http://s18.postimg.org/rkv3mij0n/cp3_flop87.gif
CP3 got a foul call for that because his head snaps back SO FAR:eek:

It's just odd that he got fined for it. I'll admit I don't know how fining for flops works. Does the league go back and review tape? Or are they alerted to it by someone?
Anyway, from what I understand fines have been given out sparingly and Steph is the first star player to ever receive one. Not sure what kind of message they want to send with this one.
