No Lebron? Robbed.
LeBron took a lot of plays off this year. Trust me.

Can't go wrong with any of the names listed.

Lebron has entered the "can be a great defender when he wants to be" territory. Sort of like Kobe, except that Kobe would get voted to 1st team anyway. :lol

Pretty good although I had Conley over Wall, Bogut on the 1st team and probably Gobert instead of DeAndre...

Tbh the award is pretty meaningless. There are a lot of guys clustered at the top at each position. Selecting one over another is 100% guesswork.

Pretty Ridiculous Players like Wade, Rondo, Harden, got votes. Even though they didn't make the Teams it shows how flawed this award is at times.

Duncan,GObert,Davis and Bogut, at the least, were better defensive bigs than Deandre this year.

Confirms what we knew all along: Kobe > Lebron on the defensive end.

Kobe First Team All Defence: 9
Lebron First Team All Defence: 5

Kobe was on a first team all defensive team at age 32-33.

It's amazing how far the last 4 DPOY's have dropped.

Joakim Noah and Marc Gasol only got a few votes, and Tyson Chandler + Dwight Howard didn't get any votes at all.

Also, it's a damn crime that all four of them have DPOY's, but Duncan doesn't, even though he's made the All-defense team 15 times (Noone else had more than 12 selections)

Bogut, Gobert, Chandler are all significantly better defensive Centers than Jordan.

Also, congrats to Tim. Extends his record of 15 All-Defensive Teams. iirc nobody else has more than 12.

At least Lebron is not getting bull**it selections as older Kobe was.

Well that's why they have many people voting. It eliminates the wacky votes thus eliminating the flaw.

Kobe is lucky he isn't around in this era where people actually look to the best defensive players to give the award to. Dude got 5 of these selections of pure BS. Good to see deserving players on there these days and not the influx of superstar names for the sake of it.

DJ being voted onto First Team over Davis is astounding.

DJ being voted onto First Team over Davis is astounding.

They legitimately do the EXACT same thing...

Average, at best, post defenders while excellent help defenders. I don't see how people think it's crazy that DJ got it over Davis.

Gobert should have made first team over DJ though.

Kawhi, Green, Butler, Duncan & Davis.... thats some tough competition for Lebron to pass when he was not so engaged defensively in the reg. season anyways....
