Jamal Crawford. I have never seen a guy who struggles so much with conventional shots but makes the acrobatic, contested shots look easy. It's like he HAS to take those tough shots for him to get going. He's also one of the best heat check players ever.

But yeah, Kobe is hands down the greatest bad shot maker ever. Having lived in LA for his whole career, I have seen it all. Some of the shots he attempted and made were just ridiculous. Let's not forget that in his prime, Kobe got a ton of lift on his shots and he could elevate over the defender on almost any place on the court. I don't think anyone in history was better at getting off a decent look with 5 seconds or less on the clock, no matter the defense or situation. He was going to get off a decent shot.

Shawn Marion, Kevin Martin, Bill Cartwright, Bill Laimbeer.
They all have ugly shots but can make them

Jamal Crawford. I have never seen a guy who struggles so much with conventional shots but makes the acrobatic, contested shots look easy. It's like he HAS to take those tough shots for him to get going. He's also one of the best heat check players ever.

Kobe's bad shots are a mixture of poor selection and bailing out the offense. But Jamal takes them all the time, out of nowhere jumps, twists, turns and fires. Not looking at other players or the shotclock. thats why he is so tough to stop when he is on. you never know when he shoots. no Chance of Timing your block or contest.

Vince Carter is a solid selection too. The shots that always got me weren't fallaways or 360 layups or whatever, but it was the weird push shots and float pieces he'd attempt after seemingly running out of options after trying to barge through a defender. The types that left you feeling like, "Welp, that's a garbage sho.... oh it went in again."

This is the worst praise you could give to a player.

Basically saying he is dumb and hurls up stupid shots. People act as if this is some praise on a player. You can only be in this category if you're dumb enough to take the shots.
