If LeBron wins the title I'm sure it will be deemed that. Anyone else, it won't really be mentioned

Agreed OP, Golden State has an easy ass road to the title with every other team in the league being hurt

I am praying for all of those that are injured. Good dudes.

Dwight, Bev, DeMarre, K-Love, all the best. We love you and hope to see you on the court soon.

It's right up there with the lockout season. Warriors are the only healthy team in the league. This makes me sick. Warriors need to bench Klay and Bogut just to make everything fair.

I think I might become a Rockets fan, that's how bad it's gotten.

If the Warriors win it, absolutely.

Any other remaining teams? No because they have dealt with some sort of injury.

Lockouts are the worst asterisk

Ring chasing/cheating/colluding is the 2nd worst asterisk

Bail out shots/team mates winning you a title is the 3rd worst asterisk

Injuries to other stars are the 4th worst asterisk

What about when your teammate doubles your scoring output in the Finals and averages more rebounds than you do points? What kind of asterisk is that?

Warriors about to win a ring with 40% of the league's key players and superstars injured in the Playoffs. Meanwhile, the Warriors are so stacked they can afford to sit out the MVP in the 4th quarter of 20+ regular season games. How can Warriors fans be proud of this, it's like the Milwaukee Bucks winning a ring in the D League.

Exactly. Even as a GSW fan, I can admit we've had the easiest road to the Finals thus far. If we end up playing Cleveland in the Finals, it would be cemented as the WOAT finals run, with Love and Shump banged up and all.

This season sucks. :facepalm

Yes. Chalmers would have won FMVP this year if no one had gotten injured. I demand whoever wins FMVP give their trophy to Chalmers. Or TMac so he has a postseason award finally.

you can make up for team mates outperforming you by saving the season

aka = game 7 WCF

25 points
11 rebounds
7 assists
4 blocks

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7I5e1fh2TXs

biggest comeback in NBA history. leading the charge in the 4th = KOBE BRYANT

real nba finals = WCF for all 3 kobe/shaq titles

real nba finals MVP = kobe bryant

If warriors win it, its an asterik year
If any other of the remainjng three teams make it, its not esp cavs since they are affected by injuries the most

Are you new to the NBA ? Injuries usually play a big part in the postseason. I'm not even that much of an old-timer, but just ask the 86-87 Celtics for example.

Name another season where only 1 team is healthy after the first round
