Funny how the last two games of the season they won, which most likely moved them out of the top 3 picks were the ones where they didn't run the triangle offense.

I don't know if Phil was the right choice for this team, honestly. Sure, I'm not disputing his basketball acumen or intelligence; but the triangle offense has historically only worked under teams that frankly contained hall of fame talent. Where are the Knicks going to find that?

The whole Phil Jackson hiring seemed like a desperate quick move in the midpoint of a disastrous season from the start. A big name who's only been proven as a coach in retrospect. Not as a talent evaluator, not as a GM, and not as a team president. Another big name in the history of Knicks just throwing money at big names. :confusedshrug:

Maybe I'll be proven wrong, who knows. I'll be eating crow and the Knicks fans can bump this thread next season.

The funniest moment of the Knicks season to me was when rumors about the trades were flying and for a moment Knicks fans were celebrating thinking they were getting Reggie Jackson and then when the news came out they were disappointed.
