Oh.

But passing Jordan in finals appearances (or consecutive ones, whatever record you care about) doesn't mean shit.

He'll have an argument if he beats the Hawks

and beats the Warriors in the finals

with...5 finals appearances in a row?

Lebron hasnt had to face 1% of the tough squads Jordan had to face

Magic's Lakers, Bird's Celtics, the Bad Boy Pistons, Malone/Stockton/Horny Jazz, Hakeem/Clyde Rockets, Ewing's Knicks and the list goes on and on

But yeh Jordan played in the East so must mean that Lebron is just as good since Jordan played in a weaker era

Lebron doesnt deserve to lick Jordan's assholee at this point holler at your boy when he is ready to do that

This will be impossible to argue in a historical standpoint 20 years from now.

And LBJ in 8+ more years will have surpassed Jordan statistically in every aspect of his game

LeBron could pass Jordan in rings and it still wouldn't make him
better.

If LeBron were to win a ring w/ this Cavs team, his first 2 asterisk rings (lockout/shuttlesworth) would definitely be less talked about, tbh

Lebron with same numbers of finals MVP as MJ at age 30. Jordan 1-9 without Pippen.

Lebron carried 3 different teams in the NBA Finals. MJ is a loser without Pip and Jackson.

Funny thing is.....this is just your sugar high from the win.

You don't think Lebron is better.

Lebron obviously is never going to have a case over jordan but will probably go down top 6-8 all time

Where you rank him if he beats the stacked Warriors?? 4x NBA MVP, 3x Finals MVP, and 3x NBA Champ as the number 1 option.

The Ray Allen excuse is hilarious. An underrated pathetic reach from the haters.

Guaranteed, if it was flipped... like if Allen hit the three to cut it to two and LeBron hit the game-tying 3.. haters will still talk about Allen's three and how it "saved" LeBron...

Or maybe... you blocked that LeBron 3 out of your memory?

Bron's 3 before Ray's was literally the most forgotten clutch shot in decades

He would need 7 rings and 7 fmvp to have a case over jordan. Too many hiccups in his career already
If he does beat the warriors..probably top 7 for now

Lebron can go top 5, and maybe second best ever.Never reach Jordan heights.

Jordan is in a league of his own in nba history.

I'd like to see LeBron get that poor city of Cleveland a ring...

But if that happens, a ton of young bulls are gonna start chirping about the Jordan talk... and that shit will get annoying real fast.

LeBron can literally win a championship every year for the next five years, and he will still not be better than MJ. He would have longevity, but Jordan's best was so much better than LeBron's best that it doesn't matter.

Bad Boy Pistons
Patrick Ewing Knicks
Shaq/Penny Magic
Price/Daugherty Cavs

All of these teams gave MJ trouble in the playoffs. The East was definitely weaker during his second 3-peat.

winning a chip this year would barely get lebron half way to mjs status.... seriously.

bulls didnt win anything without mj and have never since hes been gone. the man won friggen six as the fmvp....

How the hell is winning 3 with 3 screw ups even remotely close to that?? So its clevelands first ring?? And??

Mj completely nailed his first chip and won 3 in a row...
