View Full Version : How impressed were you by Lebron's work in the low post in game 1?

Pretty much only used the hook shot, but it was money and his defenders couldn't stop it

People on ISH bang on LBJ about having a shitty post game, despite the fact that he's one of the most effective and efficient in the league. He's not a finesse post player. He's a strength post player. You can't guard it one on one when he gets good positioning and finds his rhythm backing down.

Effective as ****. Should have used it more in the 2nd half instead of dribbling the clock down.

If they play Bazemore or a small guard on Lebron instead of Millsap

I have some bad news

Lebron will murder them down low

And there will be open shots if the defense breaks down

I actually saw a jump hook for once. LeBron had a consistent jump-hook he'd be totally unstoppable.

Kerr will dare Bran to shoot long 2s and 3s, will shit the bed as usual.

The warriors have to get past the Rockets first

Don't sleep on Houston

they were up nearly 20 at one point, and hung with the home team all the way to the end of the game without Dwight

Given how his jumper has gone to shit, it was smart.

Fantastic work and highly efficient.

That won't be the reason they lose vs GSW. Lebron could average 32/8/8 and they still might lose. This Warriors team is historically good, they were ranked 2 in O and 1st in defence. (Look at the teams who have done that in NBA history)

I was impressed by how he toyed with Carrol. Like he was some D-league scrub.

He had Millsap on him more in the second half. He did the right thing, just couldn't make anything.

As LeBron gets older and his athleticism begins to decline, I expect him to play from the post a lot more. He looked really good there last game.
