Great news! DeMarre Carroll's MRI revealed a bone bruise but no structural damage. He is listed as day-to-day, reports @KBergCBS.

Very happy to hear this. I think he sits out Game 2 and suits up in Game 3.

Hard to believe it was just a bruise the dude was in agony and needed crutches after game.. Seems like a little gamesmanship by Hawks. Even if he comes back this series hard to see him being a factor anyway other than giving his teammates a little inspiration he is playing..
Good news.
That's odd though. How did he bruise his bone on that euro?

bone bruise still isnt good, means there are parts of his inner bone that are fractured. would be surprised to see him back this postseason

Definitely is weird, looked a lot worse than a bone bruise, then again we aren't doctors.

He can still play with a bone bruise. Might be limping around like Kyrie though.

I think his knee just got jammed together really hard. He was going pretty fast when he put all his weight on it and landed awkwardly.

I hope he's good. He's been the best player of the hawks in the playoffs.

Jesus Christ, the guy overracted. I thought for sure he tore an ACL or MCL. Compare that to Kobe, when he tore his Achillies and he barely flinched and shot 2 FTs. What a alpha and killer. That guy could take pain about as well as any player in history.
