Here's what I think they'll be in a couple of years...

Towns = Bogut (at best). So, yeah, I'm predicting that he'll be a bust. He's too raw. Should've stayed at least 1 more year.
Okafor = David West or Boozer
Russell = Beal, Brandon Roy, Hersey Hawkins
Mudiay = Bledsoe, Kevin Johnson

Despite this appearing to be one of the deepest drafts in recent memory... this is what you came up with? David West, Brandon Roy, and Bogut.....

How much thought did you really put into this?

I've seen dozens of Towns and Okafors.

I think Towns will be a bust. Okafor would be good - a la prime Boozer. Russell and Mudiay will be good as well.

I dont think you have.

Okafor is about as unique as they come. How many 7ft dominant low post offensive threats have you seen?

I doubt dozens of them.

I've heard that one before.. several times, especially when I said KD should go #1.. boy did I get flamed for that. I'm not saying I knew Oden would be ruined with injuries. I just knew Oden would not be a premiere big man.. So I thought KD will be the best player in that draft.

Don't we hear that every year? :confusedshrug:

Aside from Randle, who we have barely seen anything from, who else has been labeled a dominant low post scorer recently?

the last ones would be brook lopez and cousins.. cousins was actually a bit more raw offensively.

Just in the last decade... off the top...

Brook Lopez, Cousins, Favors, Kanter, Shelden Williams, Ed Davis, Sean May, Tristan Thompson, Thomas Robinson,

I'm sure there are some that I missed

How the hell can Mudiay be Bledsoe when he's 6 inches taller than him :biggums:

Like I said in the NBA Draft sub section here are my NBA Comparisons

Mudiay (6'6 Lebron James)
Karl Towns (Modern Day Tim Duncan, can step out and hit the 3. Stretch 4, or 5)
Jahlil Okafor (Unique)
Daneglo Russell (Taller Mike Conley)

Okafor will be a star, but towns could be a superstar if he pans out well

no trailblazer curse brandon roy would be a top 5 player in this league and a better SG than James harden.

also Okafor is not an undersized PF like boozer or david west so i don't see the comparison. Towns floor is bogut ever tho he's more athletic and quicker than bogut.

IDK anything about mudiay, but kevin johnson was a baller.

Towns- Bigger and more athletic Al Horford
Jahil Okafor- Al Jefferson with less range
Russel- Bigger Goran Dragic
Mudiay- Bigger Baron Davis

First off, he's 6'4...
So you don't like my Mudiay-Bledsoe comparison, even though they're both strong, athletic, and slashing guards, but you compare Mudiay to LeBron.

Towns=Duncan? How? :confusedshrug:

Also, Russell=Conley? Waaay too different.

Gotta disagree with this. Lopez and Cousins had low post skills coming out of college. May had a nice post game but he was 6'7 and overweight. The rest of them were raw as shit.

I agree. But that was how those guys were billed... all of them were expected to be AT LEAST good low post players.

That's how I see Towns. Still Raw as shit.

Okafor will be good... but how is the David West comparison wrong? They're both slow 4s. Prime Boozer isn't a bad comparison either.. he was an all-star.

Okafor has a few inches, a much longer reach, and huge hands compared to those guys. Not to mention better footwork and a plethora of low post moves. West has a nice post game, but Boozers best move is a high arcing ten foot jump shot.

Okafor = faster shorter Brook Lopez

Hell of a player when not injured

Timmy D for MVP

So Towns is going to be a healthy Bogut before his injuries?

That'll be pretty good actually.

I think Towns can be a Derrick Favors in 3 years with much more room for improvement. Could ultimately be a Alonzo Mourning type.

Okafor straight up reminds me of Al Jefferson. He's so efficient tho, i dont think he will ever have a season above 21ppg, but will consistently be among the league leaders in FG% while averaging 17-20ppg in his prime.

Russell looks very legit. But with the way guards/shooters are dominating the league, i think players like him are given shorter leashes (see Stauskas/Jimmer). He needs to get off to a good start. I see him as a slightly bigger Damien Lillard.

Mudiay is a big question mark, I havent seen enough of him. But I want him on Philly (i drafted him with Philly in 2k15 too :D ) i think they can form a tough defensive identity with that core, even tho Russell seems to fill in the gaps better.
