how many ring would he have? 8 or 9? I'm thinking 9. Gotta love the manufactured superstars of today that are only good because the actual rules of basketball don't apply to them.

if he was allowed to do this in the 80s and 90s he would have literally averaged 40 points a game for his career regular season and 45 ppg in the playoffs. Imagine all the foul shots he would get from do that.

Nevermind the travels... it's the stiff arm thats the bigger problem with LeBron*

1.be in 2014
2.be mad that the player you hate is up 1-0 in conference finals
3.find a 2012 play that refs called in favor of that said player and hate that player by making a thread about it.

Eh, with the exception of the pre-70s NBA when refs stuck to the rule books more literally, refs let a LOT of travels, carries, etc go. If they called every carry today, the game would be unwatchable. That travel was pretty bad though.
The bigger issue is refs not calling Bron's blatant offensive fouls whenever he drives and uses his off hand to push off on defenders.

Probably a lot of rings. BUT, if they could play zone defense back then, he would probably have less than 6.

refs also let defenders body lebron a lot more than any other wing player. if lebron got fouls called in his favor the same way almost all wing players do then he would average 15 free throws a game easily.

What Bron sees in terms of physicality on the perimeter is literally nothing compared to what Jordan and other wings faced in the 80s and 90s, yet Bron (I'm not even going to touch Harden :oldlol: ) gets FTs at a considerably higher rate than those players did.
He makes up for his relative lack of handles by blatantly swiping guys out the way on his drives and the refs never call it.

They say 7 steps, but he clearly dribbled. :confusedshrug:

Is that the best travel of jordan you could muster up? :lol I rate it a 2/5, but maybe next month I'll rate it a 2/6

why would i compare it to what jordan faced?
if everyone played by 90s rule, lebron will play by 90s rule. pacers didn't give him as much problem as the spurs so it is not about the physicality.
should lebron say that he should be officiated only by 90s rule while everyone else is officiated under current rules? this would make it easier for him to score though. he could just tell cavs to trade love and get a defensive C because there is no need to stretch the floor when you can't leave a bad shooter alone under 90s rule. illegal defense. do you remember that?
stretch 4s came into play because under today's leagues rules you can leave that bad shooter all alone near 3 point line if he is standing there. lebron hates zone more than anything else.
I am sure lebron would welcome laimbeer taking cheap shots if NBA promised to take back zone defense.

Didn't even use it to get an advantage either.

What is this gibberish supposed to convey to me? :confusedshrug:
Bron doesn't see the sort of defensive attention or physicality Jordan faced on a nightly basis, not even remotely close. In some cases (See: Spurs) he faces defenses that give him 5 feet of cushion with single coverage. Jordan would literally average 50 in a series facing defense like that. :oldlol:

Jordan was the better player. i have no doubt but physicality of the 80s and 90s would not do too much to lebron. it would be same for everyone else. he would bitch about bad boys like jordan did but that is about it. it would actually help him on defense. He would probably average the same numbers with better defense.
Also, why would today's defense defend jordan like they defend lebron. LeBron's jumpshot is worse but has an advantage when going to the rim.
