I'm curious. Or is he like that gf that cheated on you and left then came back a few years later, but there is alot of trust issues in the relationship?

I think they love him more. It's like the biblical story of the prodigal son. The father is the city of Cleveland. LeBron is the son. After seeing everything he had left behind, LeBron knew he had to go back home. As he returned, the city of Cleveland dropped everything and embraced their son with open arms.
Before anyone ever cared where he played basketball, he was just a kid living in Cleveland, Ohio. Now, he's one of the greatest players to ever play the game. He has a chance to bring his city the ultimate prize in professional sports. A championship.

Its really split. Some love him more than ever and some are just happy a Cleveland team is winning again. I don't feel the buzz is as big around Northeast Ohio like it was from 07-10. There's a buzz but its not as loud. I think a lot of people have to see them make the finals again. After they made it in 07, every year after was like this is the year LeBron will do it. Especially 09 and 10. I know its easy to look at those years now and be like yeah most of those guys are out of the league but it was 5-6 years ago. We had a great team both years and you can't argue that. If we win this year or the next few, its almost like a Hollywood movie. From the home grown chosen son, to the traitor to the returning hero. Its an incredible story around here.

Everyone I talked to IRL in Cleveland says pretty much the same thing:
"not forgiven until proven"
Meaning no ring, no feeling bad about burned jersey.

If you listen closely, you will notice the crowd has been quieter over the years. Nothing will match the ruckus Lebron caused in '03-'10, back in his Pre-Heat days. Those days were epic. It was Lebron vs EVERYBODY.
