Are they up there with the best of them?
I'd say so! This team is unbeatable!!!

If they finish the postseason with 4 or less losses, they'd definitely have a great argument for top 10 of all time

Not best team in history. That goes to the 72 win Bulls.
'14-'15 Warriors are in the top 10 though.

They are definitely up there at the moment. There's no reason right now that they shouldn't make the Finals and win it all.

Well...
They beat the Pelicans
They beat the Grizzlies, but 3 of the games they won involved Conley or Allen being injured
They're beating the Rockets without Montejunas, and Beverley, and Dwight injured game 1
Their finals competition will likely be a depleted Cavs team
While they are a great team, and I still think one of the best all time, it's kind of hard to gage just how good they are in the post season since they haven't faced a legit/fully healthy team, and likely won't.
The eye test tells me they are the best team I've seen since the 97 Bulls though. Just really deep, well developed, and well coached.
Although I feel that way, I'm not entirely sure that they would beat the 2014 Spurs, but I would give them the slight edge considering they'd have home court advantage, and Oracle is a very difficult place to win.

2nd behind 2012 Heat imo
Timmy D for MVP

The best? No.
Would I take a lot of other teams in matchups? Probably.
But they are undoubtedly having one of the all time great NBA seasons. :applause:

 Wouldn't have even won 60 games in the regular season, then trailed in 3 straight playoff series.

Very good team for sure but prime Shaq, Hakeem, Duncan, Robinson would just dumpster Bogut and that's just going back to 90s
Great to play during a time where the "best" centers can barely score 20 in a game (Dwight/Gasol)

Fixed. How LeBron James single handedly destroyed the most stacked team of all time, featuring not 1, not 2, but 3 MVP caliber players, is simply beyond me.

Shaq's Lakers, 2004 Pistons or 2005 Spurs and 2008 Celts would destroy this Warriors team,

Just in the 2000s
00-01 Lakers were better
01-02 Lakers were better
02-03 Spurs were better
08-10 Lakers better
10-11 Mavs better
Warriors are better than the Heat and Spurs champs of the 2010s though.

Can't imagine why posters are over-reacting - how do you put a young, UNTESTED (as in NEVER having even been to the Finals) team over all-time great, hardened veterans who have WON it over and over and ... again.

Nope. Just no. The Heat, Spurs (especially the '12 Heat & '14 Spurs) would wreck them. '12 Wade and LeBron were monsters defensively. That was probably the last season when Wade was elite defensively (he still was very good during the '13 RS). LeBron and Wade on the perimeter with the Heat's trapping defense? Game over.
'14 Spurs would have Leonard and Danny Green on the perimeter. That team would've beat them with their ridiculous offense though.
Also, you missed out the '08 Celtics, '00 Lakers, '07 Spurs, '04 Lakers, and the '04 Pistons. The '04 Pistons would probably sweep the Warriors.
Prime Kobe and Shaq? :oldlol:

00' Lakers?
Nah... Shaq yeah, but Warriors can match and top at any other position.... '07 Spurs?
****ING LMAO..... clearly their weakest title team, able to controversially overcome the Suns, avoid the Mavs, play the Utah Jazz in the WCF and the Cavaliers in the Finals... foh.
'04 Lakers pretty much the same as '00 Lakers. '04 Pistons aren't that special either.
Team that won 54 games in one of the worse conferences of all time, is supposed to 'sweep' a 67-win team in one of the strongest conferences ever, with one of the highest point differentials ever?
Where do people get this shit from?

Greatest team of all time title is the 86' Celtics and is really not even close! That was the most UNFAIR collection of RIGHT talent ever! That team had EVERYTHING! And I'm a Showtime Lakers diehard fan.
No GREAT dominant inside team throughout history would have trouble with a soft jump shooting team like the Warriors, the problem is that in today's league there are no great inside teams!
Translation: Early 2000's Lakers rump over the present day Warriors!

No. God No.
First off, the 08 Lakers were TRUCKED by Boston who was clearly their superior in every way. So you should at the very least add 08 Boston, but almost certainly remove the Lakers.
10-11 Mavs started us down the path to 3 point shangri-la but the Dubs would beat that team comfortably. The 11-12 Heat squad was fantastic and had the defensive backcourt to match up with them. As did the 14 Spurs who won 12 of their last 17 playoff games by 15+.

If they beat Atlanta in the Finals, many people will say they are a GOAT team.
If they beat Cleveland in the Finals, many people will say they are a pretty good team.

The only thing that's debatable about the 2001 Lakers sweeping GS is the victory margin spread, 10-15 or 20-30 on average.

01' Lakers would wreck the Warriors. In the playoffs you had Kobe going off for 29ppg, Shaq for 30ppg and Fisher looking like RS Kyle Korver throughout the playoffs.
Kobe would make Klay look even more foolish than he has against Harden. Kerr putting Green on Shaq would last for one possession.
There is zero question that the Lakers would control and slow down the pace of the game. Shaq's dominance ensures that.

This Warriors team can be defeated by another all-time great championship team, sure. But they aren't get swept or dominated. I can see them take anyone 6 games at least, win or lose.

If they win the title and go something like 16-4...they'll have an argument for top 5 or so...probably top 10 team of all time.
They have to complete this though.
But so far...they are sure looking like it.
Elite on both ends of the floor. Win 67 games in a brutally tough conference...then win the title in dominant fashion? Yea...that will put you up there.

What do you think about the fact that they haven't had to face teams at full strength though? Sure, their regular season was impressive as hell
Playoffs? Their competition:
-New Orleans
-Memphis Grizzlies with 3 of their wins being when Conley/Allen were hurt
-Houston Rockets missing 2 starters
-Cleveland Cavaliers without Love, and with Kyrie Irving having multiple injuries
I still think they're a great team, but I don't think going 16-4 with these circumstances is THAT impressive. They're barely edging out the Rockets with Montejunas and Beverly injured... I mean they have Jason Terry covering Steph Curry.
I'll have a difficult time considering them a top 10 team all time given these circumstances. Definitely an amazing regular season performance though
Hell, I'm not even sure they defeat the 2014 Spurs.
