Surprised by how many people are confused by harden's pass to Dwight.

Harden's goal was to drive to the rim for a lay up, but klay and curry got back to cut him off. Once harden saw the double team, his first instinct was to pass, so he picked up his dribble. He didn't realize he would have so much space because curry and klay were anticipating the drive. That's probably why it looks weird with him open, holding the ball, and then passing it to Dwight. He passed it to Dwight so he could receive the pass back from Dwight, dribble, and then take a jumper in rhythm, but he dribbled right into the double team.

Harden had been shredding Klay Thompson and the whole Warriors defense all game, against set, half-court defenses...

But miraculously Klay and Steph got back (they didn't) to stop him on a full sprint fast break?

No, Harden just froze. Plain and simple.

Harden had an open 3 but screwed up because he thought too much.

He said in the post game interview that he saw a red jersey. He didn't know who it was. He just saw a red shirt and passed it. Things happened really quickly. I can understand his confusion. He played his ass off all night. Hats off to him. Glad Warriors won though.

He certainly had a Lebaldo moment on that last play

It seemed like he didn't know it was Dwight.

And the three other people on the floor were capable of shooting a 20 foot shot and making it.

So he had a 75 percent chance of the person receiving the pass being a good shooter. He ended up in the other 25 percent though, and it was Dwight, who can't shoot beyond 5 feet so he didn't shoot it and passed it back.

He shoulda just kept going to the hoop. It was a two on three but he went away from, I think, Jones or whoever was down there with him. Guy should have tried to screen for him.

Actually nah. No screen. Get the hell out the way.

Harden just went to the wrong side. Maybe cuz he's left handed. Who knows.

Still poor awareness on his part. Obviously the big man is going to be trailing the play in most cases. No matter how you slice it, it was completely Harden's fault. Epic performance capped off by a choke job on the last play.

That really doesn't make it sound any better.

Harden simply froze under the pressure. He had a good shot to score in transition but decided to pass for another dribble and it ended up screwing him over.
