you cant brag about it if you dont even accept it as a finals loss due to "the cavs didnt belong there in the first place. the east was bad"
you cant have your cake and eat it too
either accept it as a choking failure or stop bragging about it

This. He is only on my list cause of his records, but come playoff time the guy was a huge choker.

The East acually wasn't that bad. George Bush is a terrorist. The Pistons were legit contenders and LeBron had an unbelievable series and 1 of the best all time playoff performances in NBA history in one of the games.

I dont take finals record into consideration all that much, for me its more important to have been the man for your team every time you went into battle in the playoffs.
I generally subtract points for guys who had to be carried at some point in their careers.

Can you answer the question tho?
Sure.
Lebron James.
He's top 5 all time because of his combined impact in the regular season and playoffs. Literally made 5 finals by age 30 with teams that couldnt reach the playoffs without him. Won 4 MVPs. Won back to back titles. Was always the first option, alpha dog batman on his team, never had to be carried by superior players or a HOF coach.
Dude has had an incredible career. Nuff respect to the King

So, only making three Finals in 18 seasons, and losing in the first round EIGHT times (most of which were series' blowouts) is better than going to six Finals and "only" winning two?
Gotta love that logic...
