I always thought that basketball fans were denied USA Teams in the 2000's or 2004's Olympics that could've rivaled the original Dream Team in terms of talent (had all the best players participated).

If you could build a "Dream Team" from players of that era what would yours look like? Here's mine.

Starting Lineup:

PG - Jason Kidd
SG - Kobe Bryant
SF - Tracy McGrady
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Shaquille O'Neal

Bench:

G - Allen Iverson
SG - Vince Carter
SF - Paul Pierce
F - Kevin Garnett
F - Chris Webber
SG - Ray Allen
F - Jermain O'Neal

Head Coach: Phil Jackson
Assistant Coach: Gregg Popovich

How do you think this team would fare against the original Dream Team (1992), or Dream Team II (1996)? I know for sure they would absolutely destroy the Redeem Team (2008), and the 2012 squad.

Twin towers of Shaq + Duncan with KG + Webber as backup? Good luck everyone.

Whatever struggles they went through wouldn't be an issue surrounded by the other players I listed.

I'm a Lakers fan but I have more respect for Duncan than that.
