- Forcing a trade to the Knicks instead of waiting till FA
- Getting rid of Lin
- Re-signing on a max deal when the Bulls were an option (guaranteed ECF)
- Not utilizing Shumpert/Smith
- Refusing to accept a #2 spot on a team in order to win a ring and selfishly wanting a #1 role in exchange for never making the playoffs/sniffing a playoff run.

1. Melo didn't force anything. Melo simply refused to sign an extension with the Nuggets, and when asked what team he would be willing to sign with, stated the Knicks.

2. Lin is garbage, and will always be garbage.

3. According to ISH, Melo going to Chicago would be "colluding" and "beta"

4. NA

5. According to ISH, Melo not wanting the #1 role is a sign of being a "beta"
