View Full Version : The haters' worst possible scenario has come true

If you would have asked me a month ago what the worst possible scenario for a Lebron hater in the playoffs would be, I would have said:
- Love gets injured
- Kyrie gets injured
- Lebron leads the rest of the team to the Finals anyway and plays well
And the likelihood of the all of the above happening would have been about 1 percent.
Ever since Lebron signed to Cleveland, the haters always knew that even if Cleveland won the Finals, they could always just talk about how any star player could have won playing alongside K. Love and K. Irving.
Well, their excuse just got ripped out from underneath them in basically a heartbeat. And they couldn't have possibly expected this to happen. So, take it easy on them :oldlol:

top 6 this season.....i think he'll surpass Magic and Bird....but not Duncan(loyalty, leadership, longetivity) and Wilt(God-like stats)
but yeah he has 5 or 6 good years in him.....can make it to top 3

Beating top 3 team all time without Love and with injured Irving would take him into the top 3 all time. I can see only Jabbar and Jordan being better than him. No one else.

Now don't get me wrong. If Lebron and co beat the Warriors that's a hell of a feat since they're the heavy favorites and we can't say shit other than they handled business.
But let's slooooooow down with this shit where you fools start making up false narratives to fluff up the level of competition this dude is playing. He would have beat a VERY good team. Historically good? Who knows? They've just had one really nice season. I've seen enough ball not to bust a nut over a nice season dude.

If LeBron actually somehow carries this team of death past the Warriors it will cause the greatest mass destruction of meltdowns in Internet history. There would literally be no excuse.

they havent even won the championship FFS.
And thats the point. They are destroying every team out there. They had one of the biggest point differentials of all times, they were dominating the regular season and now the playoffs in one of the best conferences of all times.
If Lebron is going to be the reason of them not winning the championship, it would be the biggest surprise in a long time. Even I cant find the way how somebody could beat the Warriors, and if Lebron somehow does it, it would be a huge boost for him in rankings.

do you people listen to yourselves half the time
you basically just said.. in a nutshell
"if the cavs beat golden state 4 times out of 7 games. that > everything kobe bryant accomplished in his entire life"
i think it is what it is... a fluke.... a nice fluke... but a fluke
anyone can get lucky if they have a free trip to the finals
title prestige is claimed via 3-4 great rounds of basketball

Lebron beat a stacked Bulls team with a hobbled Kyrie and no Love and now he is about to beat the 1 seed, 60 win Hawks with 4 all stars all by himself.

But see that's the thing. Yea yea yea lebrons squad is missing their primary pieces but are the left over pieces straight bums?
It's not like this dude is playing with Nazr Mohammed, an 87 year old Hershey Hawkins and a bag of skittles.

Very below average starting backcourt, above average starting frontcourt, average to slightly above average bench, average at best coach.
But you're right. Carrying that team past the Bulls, Hawks and Warriors isn't impressive at all.

The cavs are on a crazy run, it's unbelievable what's happened in the east playoffs..
We all know the east is pretty crap, as expected in the first round steamroll the celtics. But the way the Bulls just imploded and gave up? Now the Hawks, (Spurs lite, Spurs 2.0, 60 win team etc) just completely folding? What the fu*k is going on??
You'd expect the Warriors to wipe there asses with the depleted cavs but the way it's been going they'll probably brick every shot, lose every rebound and the cavs scraps will sink every 3:oldlol: :facepalm

Yeah...LBJ's doing really well...but Cavs aren't THAT weak....
2015 Cavs >> any other Cavs team LBJ's played on.
But yes..if LBJ can go all the way...then he's top 6 all time

But it's not like the Hawks were going into the playoffs still white hot. We saw this shit as the playoffs were starting. If I'm not mistaken their record leading up to the post season was pretty average dude. Like almost 500 again.
They squeezed by the Nets. Had it out with the Wiz and now we see Lebron just bending them over a table.
As someone said In another thread the Hawks were an accident waiting to happen. Whatever magic they had they completely lost.
Shit I feel like even the Wizards would have at least been more feisty about it.
But it is what it is man.

Let's not pretend Hawks haven't been exposed as pretenders....seriously tho getting taken to the limit by Wiz and Nets(two teams who wouldn't make it to the western playoffs) is embarassing

They're not horrible, but are they amazing pieces you would expect to beat the Warriors starting five? Let's assume Kyrie Irving's injury keeps him out for the finals. Carmelo Anthony's second and third option, a young blossoming but unpolished big man in Thompson, and Matthew freaking Delladova? I guess you could give Mozgov the pass for a solid player based on his past achievements.
Against Steph, Klay, Draymond, Barnes, Bogut, and Iguodala off the BENCH? If Lebron somehow in god's green earth manages to pull off a series win against this team he deserves credit, for putting his teammates in a position to win, and leading his team to a win (which I honestly don't think is going to happen).

The man is just scary. His overall IQ, knowledge of the game is a thing of beauty. Hate him if you want but respect his IQ/Knowledge/game.

Overhyping this shyt again
this is the easiest road Lebron's had to the Finals since 2011, you people are a joke...
who has he beaten?
crappy Boston squad that traded their key players away and had a bunch of average players, 0 experience
Bulls team that had a healthy Gasol for one game
Hawks team with no legitimate star player and two of their best defenders injured
barring any injuries, Warriors will expose the Cavs in the Finals.

its funny that you are mentioning 2011, since it was one of the toughest paths to the finals on the east in recent history :lol
and i wonder why are you not talking about injured love varejao and irving, since you are talking about injuries?

Irving, despite injuries is put up decent numbers in the first two rounds and Mozgov + TT been very good defensively and on the boards, JR, Dellavedova, Irving, Shump have been reliable shooters and have played well on the defensive end.
2011 is the toughest? not when you have Bosh averaging 19/9 on 50% shooting and Wade 24/7/4 on 46% shooting
Wade 30/7/5 on 53% shooting against Boston, Bosh 23/8 on 60% shooting against Chicago
and no series went beyond 5 games.

Are you actually watching the games? His supporting cast isn't great in terms of star power but they are all playing their roles perfectly. Everyone is hitting their shots and playing great defense. Tristan Thompson has been absolutely beasting and it has nothing to do with Lebron.
This is the perfect team for Lebron, a bunch of drones playing their roles to perfection and in the east it works cuz the competition isn't good. But the warriors will cut them down worse than the 07 spurs did, there is no doubt about that. If the cavs make it past them I think we can all just give Lebron the GOAT, but it's just not gonna happen.

lebron will win it all this year. he will step up in the finals in crunch time. he just have to stop taking stupid jumpers and focus on his post game and driving to the basket. or double team and making the pass.

ESPECIALLY if the manage to lose to the cavs without Love
Duncan or Dirk beating the Bran Heat is MUCH more impressive.

Worst possible scenario? Everybody with a brain who has graduated from high school and isn't paid to hype LeBeta knows that he has had a cakewalk through The Least for years, with this year being the worst.
What I can't wait for is all his zombie stans and media talking heads trying to excuse their way out of 2/6.

Lol well, it's possible the cavs could beat gsw but itd be an upset. They still have the pieces but you'd think cav role players would stop hitting like this eventually. Gsw can also go cold, and bron has more exp than their whole team.
I agree tho nobody can say shit if bron plays well and keeps them in it, not like vs spurs getting blown out, but actually getting wins. This would be an all time great performance if he did. Basically he'd just have to go in on them and take it from them early. It's hard to imagine with such a potent offensive team.
Like I said if he goes seven im giving him props too. Cavs are looking way better than they should with that roster. I give a lot of that credit to bron but not all cuz their role players are making shots beyond what is expected of role players. They are playing above their head considerably.
