I would be grateful to gather some recommendations from the more learned gentlemen amongst us.
In two weeks I'm embarking on what I'm hoping will be somewhat of an Odyssey. Shall be travelling to do volunteer work and kick start a career in humanitarian / aid sector.. hopefully.
I'm looking to buy plenty of good non-fiction and get stuck into some interesting, mind expanding shit when I'm over there.
Any gems you guys really rate would be appreciated. Philosophy, Sociology, Politics, Foreign Affairs etc
I've read some stuff by Daniel Kahnehman, Malcom Gladwell, Noam Chomsky, John Pilger. For those unfamiliar with the last two they are similar in their left leaning anti establishment views, any balance recommendations awesome.
