They would've put up a better fight than this. They still probably would've choked, but at least it would've been entertaining.

Clippers engineered one of the greatest chokes in NBA history. They have no room to be mad

Again, game 3 was ****ing boring. Games 1 & 2 were entertaining but frustrating (as a Rockets fan)

Clippers would've lost the same way Houston is losing. The Warriors are just too dominant on both ends and they get contributions from 9-10 players. The Clippers on the other hand have 3, maybe 4 good players at most and far worse team defense. The games would be competitive in the 1st quarters until the 2nd units come in and GS completely murders them from that point on. Spurs are the only team that could give them trouble.

Houston in game 1 and 2 did put up a great fight. But when Golden State clicks like this on both ends, it's game over.

This. Golden State is the deepest team in the league. And right now they've got the most star power in the league (OKC and Cleveland have more when healthy). They've also got a pretty damn good coach and coaching staff. Thing is, Klay still didn't do anything special offensively and Barnes was really bad; but they got good contributions from Green and Bogut, and a surprising double-digit scoring effort from Ezeli, and of course Curry went God Mode. But like you said, when they're clicking defensively, and get at least this level on the offensive end, they're pretty much unbeatable this year.

As a Warriors fan, I would like to thank the Clippers for taking out the Spurs, and the Rockets for taking out the Clippers.

A number of teams would have put up a better fight I think Clipps is one of them. But to think they choked against this Rockets team full of losers.:facepalm

the clippers playing at their best would have beat the warriors...they are just as explosive when they are clicking on all cylinders...they are just the dumbest team in the league which makes people think they are as bad as they look.....clippers are the only team besides the spurs and thunder that actually match up with the warriors in the most important positions....and have the scoring to compete.

This is the Warriors year, but the Clippers would have given them a fight...no sweep like the lowly Rockets. When the Clippers are on their game they can beat anyone.

Clippers would get murdered by Golden State. But, we are talking about the Clippers. So, it would probably go something like this:

Clippers are up 3-0 versus the Warriors. They then implode and lose the series 4-3. That's what the Clippers would do. They are historical chokers of the highest order.

Clippers messed things up - they beat the Spurs and then lost to Houston, both of which probably would've been better series than this one against the Rox.

no they wouldn't have.. Spurs and Clippers would have split those first 2 games.Spurs I agree with.

Clippers on the other hand have the worst bench in the league and mediocre team defense - 2 areas the Warriors excel in. Their team was complete trash outside of their big 3 while the Warriors have about 10 players they can get solid contributions from. Warriors would've killed the Clippers.

Offense: Maybe
Defense: Hell no
Rebounding: No
Depth: Hell no

Clips have CP3, Warriors have Curry
Clips have Redick, Warriors have Thompson
Clips have Matt Barnes, Warriors have Harrison Barnes
Clips have DJ, Warriors have Bogut

Blake Griffin is literally their only real advantage. Warriors match or exceed the Clippers in every other way.

with your logic the clippers shouldnt even have been a playoff team then...this is why I said when the clippers are clicking on all cylinders....their defense sucks but when it is engaged they are as good as anyone on defense in the league....

rebounding is debatable because deandre is probably the best in the league at rebounding...blake just decides not to rebound...its not from lack of ability, and you cant say barnes and cp3 are bad rebounders...so thats basically most of their lineup that can also hit the boards....why they dont...is a mystery which is why I reiterate "clicking on all cylinders" keep that in mind.

one factor you arent bringing in this equation is jamal crawfords ability to score the ball and basically become his own bench....he offsets anything the warriors can bring off the bench in terms of volume scoring when he is on. The clippers have cp3 who mentally has the advantage over curry because when he is pissed off and has something to prove im not choosing a point guard over cp3...so curry wont be running around off screens shooting 3s like hes in heaven...cp3 will make him feel him every posession. If curry is uncomfortable, and deandre and blake are in sync...the most important parts of the warriors offense and defense are affected. The clippers can beat the warriors, and have proven that before. They would have been able to do it again this year if they werent the most idiotic team in sports history.

He shot 36% in the playoffs with his usual terrible defense and shot 29% in the Clippers last 3 losses. Every time he entered the game they immediately started losing. He's horrible.

Matt Barnes was also completely useless. He averaged 8 pts on 38% and did nothing else to help the Clippers.

If those guys were that bad against Houston, imagine how bad they would be against the #1 defense in the league?

Then you add the fact that the Clippers have the worst bench in the league while the Warriors are extremely deep.

Clippers won't win anything unless they either improve their defense or get some real help outside of CP, Blake, DJ and Redick.

I believe if the clippers won game 6 against houston they would have won it all....they were playing great ball besides game 5...the shooting would have eventually come for the shooters...they blew it this year

Yep. Spurs could've been 2nd seed or not blown Games 6/7 - any of those things happen I think it's the Spurs playing the Warriors right now. But eh, it's the little bits of luck going one team or another's way that decide championships. Spurs had their fair share going for and against them.

Ah well.

Feel the same way about us clenching the 2 seed against the Pelicans. We now face the Mavs in the first round with Parsons out and Rondo starting. Clips either choke again vs. Houston or they win and we take on a fatigued, shallow Clippers squad with an injured CP3 who's out for the first two games while we are fresh after an easy series against a dysfunctional Mavs team. Even if the series played out similarly, there's no doubt home court advantage would be enough to swing it in our direction since it came down to literally a 1 second shot. Best case scenario is we get the Warriors in the WCF after more than likely two easy series' where we had home court and just have to win one single series without it against a team we match up very well against then obliterate whatever trash comes out of the Least.

bullshit... they were/are simply the better team, they won fair and square, even with an unfortunate amount of whistles in game 5...

hell, they won in 7 AND somewhat gave away 2 at home, could have finished them in 5.
